Extracarricular activities and there was so much facilities for that.

The course i took was Msc Biotechnology. It is a nice course we can study all the anatomy and physilogy of plants , microbes etc.its all based on the laboratory activities.The scope of the course is nice

Liked the campus very well , the people from the various state and I can interact with them.make friendship with them
The facilities of the campus was very nice , they have the huge library,
There are some workers for cleaning in the campus everyday. They clean the campus and the campus surrounding every day.and there are very close

Dislikes

Canteen menu is veg,they didn't support for including the non veg item for the canteen
Sometimes class are too late , the hostel students suffering from that

This is a good course for me The faculties are really friendly and much talented In one semester I have two internel exams one semester exam. The support for the non accademic activities are low...not too much low But they have to improve that

Marine geology in Mangalore university

Likes

Good faculties with good teaching assistance.
Gym centers for both boys and girls and for staffs
Laboratories with modern equipments and lab assistants.

In Mangalore University, marine geology has with duration of two years. Total four semesters and the fourth semester is the internship period. The faculty members are extremely talented. All faculties have a doctorate.

Good atmosphere to do post graduation

I like the environment the campus is situated in a country side
University has one of the largest library in Karnataka
The faculties and students are very kind to everyone

Dislikes

The climate of this area is not good for everyone
Campus is seems quite after 6 pm there is no night life
The campus situated a remote area which is difficult for students to reach city

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

I am very satisfied with geological studys. So I want to study related to geology. also I want to study eny software course. This course is more suitable for me. In this course we can learn computer programming and we have to study about professional map making. Practical exam is littil bit difficult. But theory exam is very easy.

Geoinformatics has broad job opportunities and Iam personally interested in geographical studies. The course has limited amount practical classes it should change. Lab facilities is less and should be improved.
