Course Curriculum Overview

I was quite interested in create basics in Geoinformatics and Geology.The course helps me in interacting with real world.The course need more practical session than the older theory classes.The exams are relatively difficult because it is a master programme

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 48900 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is comparitively less comparing to the other institutions.They only charge around 50000 thousand for one year. There is no stipend for the other state students.They provode financial assistance like fees for the one we can pay as small small amount one time settlement is not needed

Campus Life

The campus is good,actually very good it is a greenery campus filled with trees.There are much more festivals programmes conducted the unioun of the collage.The hightech classroom provides more efficiency. There had annual sports meet and also different types extracurricular activities.

Admission

Its was quite good admission process.i didnt write any entrance exams. Based on perfomance on academics they provide seat for me. All the application process and fees paying where easy job. I dont get any reservation beacuse outside from the state.

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews
