Course Curriculum Overview

Geoinformatics has broad job opportunities and Iam personally interested in geographical studies. The course has limited amount practical classes it should change. Lab facilities is less and should be improved.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 28900 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fees is 28900 for one year.it is a two year course.We are the students from other state thats why we are not eligible for any scholarship. There is no stipend provided for us.According to the other collages the fees is less over here

Campus Life

Sambrahma-The festival of art and culture Collageday- conducted by the university student council Magnem- Programme conducted and organised by commerce department Annual sports where also conducted by university

Admission

Eligibility-degree in bsc or ba Application forms are available in website and we can do all these process through online Exams are medium not so tough and simple but time is very less in 3 hrs it is very difficult to complete.

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews
