Remarks
College is okay.Its not the best ,but the education is good. library facilities are great and also teaching is good Canteen facility is very poor,and also extra curricular activities aren't so great.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as per university of mysore. Exams are conducted after every semester.The system is CBCS.There are two internals conducted before every semester exam ,the student must have 30% results in both of the internals combined to be able to wrote the semester exam
Placement Experience
Placements opportunities are open for students of other streams but ,there are no placements for the students of biochemistry , internships are not provided.but they might guide you through for other jobs and internships
College Events
Cultural events and sports eventa are conducted annually.Much importance is not given to this activities though.It's more like being conducted for the sake of conducting one. Sometimes it's fun. Prizes are distributed in the annual function of the college
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible.I pay 60k per annum for my course.The facilities in our labs are provided accordingly ,I have no regrets paying the amount.the quality of the education is also great. There are also few scholarship schemes for low income students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Vidyalakshmi scholarship and loan scheme is availed in our college.also students can apply for vidyasiri scholarship provided by the government. The criteria for applying the scholarship includes income ,cast and category though
Campus Life
Labs are great ,they have all the facilities.other extracurricular activities are not to be told of.they're conducted for name sake. Sports is okay. Annual sports competitions are done and matches are conducted between departments.it's fun.
Alumni/Alumna
Alymini meets are not conducted ,but lecturers sometimes do contact them to guide us through job opportunities and they're always been helpful. Otherwise they're in contact through WhatsApp groups etc.
Admission
I wrote and entrance exam for the university of mysore , according to the merit list I got alloted in this college. I submitted and verified my documents in the university of mysore ,where they gave a card ,which I submitted to this college,I then filled an application form and paid the fees. My admission was done.
Faculty
They're highly qualified and also cool. Not all the faculty members though.They always provide the information we need and are there to help in difficult times.they're not the best teacher's out there ,but they're really good.
