- All classroom are well developed with good classroom settings,all classroom have ac and good environment to study and interact. Best infrastructure with many facilities.
- Every floor has its own washroom and it is very clean and hygienic.the mess food is good and healthy
- The faculties are good and smart and are very helpful. Campus placement is good with high salary
Dislikes
- Less cultural programs and high fee structures
- The classes are good but less field work and field trip. As a Geology student we should have more practical works but the Geology labs are not that develop with only few samples
- My class have 30 students 13 of them are girls and 17 of them are boys
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very vast as from next year onward we will have desertation and internships. Internships and mini projects are compulsory which is helpful and important for our CV. More practical works should be done, theory wise its good but applying it is difficult. Exams are held every 2 months and the course is 6month per sem
Fees and Financial Aid
So for my msc Geology the first year fee is 102000. till now i didn't got any scholarship details but u can apply.the hostel fees is 113000 per year. For msc geology ,girls hostel block 3 and 4 is only available where we get triple sitter room(including mess).
Campus Life
In mit tech tatva is one of the big technical festival which last for 3 to 4 days. It is a fest where games are played,many cultural activities are celebrated. The library is very big, almost every books are present in tge Library. Sports and extracurricular activities like swimming pool,gym, basketball court, indoor games etc are available.
Admission
I applied to many universities like bhu, Pondicherry, Delhi,NEHU etc but i didn't got admission as my cuet score was low. I got into NEHU but i choose manipal university as i want more exposure and good facilities. I choose this college because it is one of the best universities in india with high rank in nirf ranking. The admission process is very easy first we hv to register and fill all the details after some time we have to wait for the admission. The eligibility is 60% in overall subjects in your bsc. There is no cut off or exams to get admission.
Faculty
Our department is a division of civil engineering department. All tge faculties are good and very interactive. They are very helpful and good teaching methods. I like every faculty here as they are very helpful and friendly. As per NEP this year we have two main exam mid sem and end sem with 30 marks and other 70marks depends on presentations , internal exams, record book submition and assignment etc. the exam is not pen paper based, they provide epad and stylus to write the exams.
