Remarks

As it's a reputed college and most of my friends suggested that this college is good for academics I opted this college and the college life is just amazing in this university to get an mba certificate I guess this is one the best universities

The faculties are amazing and highly experienced the academics are good so does the curriculum, the provide quality education and we have all the freedom for our creativity in this university all the faculty members are friendly

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are not that great at Manipal the average package is so less for the amount we are paying for the tuition fee the placements are so less and it's very hard to find a job the campus drives are very less compared to other colleges

College Events

It's a blessing for a student to have such a campus life here in manipal the events and extra curricular activities always take place here there is a lot of physical activities and the infrastructure is so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

My Experience: The good and the Bad

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More

For you to get the Manipal name you have you give met which is Manipal Entrance Test. You have to score above 40 to get any seat in manipal.After that there are three rounds of counselling which you have to clear .. the college does not support any sort of reservation..
