Remarks
The admission process was quite simple it was no marks or quota-based. They hardly took any marks sheets to go through. They just checked my documents and I got admission. There were no admission criteria as far as people had that passion and interest in the field of interior designing and that creativity. Counselling day was pretty good everything about the program and college was explained to me in detail.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I've worked at starts for interiors and exteriors of tiles, stones, etc, and gained interest here because of that. So was really interested to take up a course in the same field and expanding my knowledge. The faculty are very kind and friendly. The level of teaching is very knowledgeable. They are clear about what they teach and also involve many activities to involve students in. The faculty are all extremely well qualified. The exams were given about 4 times in 2 years and quite to the point papers so not too difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internships haven't taken any yet but are offered from live space. Projects took for both residential and commercial. Have done multiple projects on big and small exhibition designs too. A lot of projects were designed on AutoCAD and Sketch-up.
Placement Experience
First semester onwards. Companies visited Asian paints, live space, homelane, etc. Offered at live space. The highest package for freshers is 24000 take home while experienced people generally draw 30-40. About 85-90% are getting placements. After getting the degree I've planned to do an internship after which I'll look for a job. Later in the future, I'll start my own interior design company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The study cost was a little highly-priced but worth the pay as the faculty took care of the projects and included a lot of fun activities and events to keep the students engaged. They also provide campus interviews and jobs. Not only that they give students an opportunity to work with companies and do internships. I haven't taken up any internship or job offered by my college yet but have given interviews with many.
Campus Life
Fests were conducted for every other event and books and journals along with proper study material were provided on time. Notes were given as well as ppts were made simple to jot points. Amenities were not too many. Just cutting boards and other materials for interior designing. Extracurricular activities were visited many places to understand and learn about the interiors and materials. There are many readily available on the net depending on the rating people can decide on their own. My choice would generally be on a website where people show their workshops at times.
