the placements in 2024 is average the highest package of this college was 45 lakhs and average salary was around 7.5 lakhs the in our course n the last was only 18 were selected for the placement out of 180 students

The ECE curriculum at amrita is comprehensive and relevant,offering a strong foundation in both core concepts and modern technologies. However more practical exposure and hands on labs could improve learning. Exams are rigorous but fair

The standard of teaching here is so high. One can easily qualify competitive exams like GATE and GRE if he/she scores decent marks here. There is limit for no of students to join a elective. So many of the students often end up taking electives which are neither useful nor interesting for them. I think every students deserve a freedom to choose the electives of his interest. Each semester has a mid semester exam of 30 marks and 3 quizzes which comprises of 20 marks. And these 50 marks are considered as internals. And End sem exam is conducted at the end of the each semester which comprises of 50marks. And the final grade is obtain after adding these marks together and assigning grades using relative grading. The difficulty level of exam varies from moderate to hard based the lecturer.

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

The curriculum they design is nice and very well structured.they keep in the way of year they are planing to teach us and real world applications they are teaching . The difficulty level of curriculum will increase year by year

Placements are pretty bad not only in Amrita but in the whole country due to recession process. But Amrita in general offers good placement opportunities for their students. Students should be prefect in their skills to get a good placement.

Placements are really going well. Students from 7th semester will be eligible for placements. Highest package until now is 52lpa and the company name is paloalto every year nearly 96-98% students will get placed every year.

From 6th sem end placement drive starts .6.5 gpa above for mass recruiters and 7.5 above for core companies.Microsoft ,Google ,Cisco etc often hire students with good packages of 50lpa -20 lpa .... Highest for ece was from mathworks around 28 lpa and avg is around 8 lpa for ece .Almost 95 percent get placed in ece .after btech I'm planning to do mtech becoz ece btech won't fetch u alot in terms of knowledge and experience

The percentage of students getting placed is around 92%. The students don't need to worry about being placed as long as there are no backlogs. The students are trained for the placement interviews by the CIR team. My plans after acquiring the degree is to pursue my higher studies in MBA
