Faculty here are , good .few of the professors are highly qualified, some are from nits and iits.
Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me was i got admission under scholarship and also many told that faculty is good for the course i chose and even the placement opportunities was far better than others
I love the environment of my college it gives peace and happiness

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not good keeping in mind the fees charged.
The food served is not good and the rooms are shared with 4 students which makes it very difficult to focus as everybody have different time schedules.
Food is not good in hostel and daily the put sambar

My Opinion about my college

Likes

Faculty and curriculum is good and labs are fully equipped and best
Good spacious library with a lot number of books
Collage timings are good morning to afternoon 3:30

Dislikes

Like no food is allowed to hostel from outside ,only cash is preferred
Only vegetarian food is allowed and non veg is not allowed
Online transactions are not accepted in anywhere in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here the curriculum is good and faculty is good and labs are good equipment. Faculty will be friendly and syllabus will be up to date and exams will be like mid will be moderated to some diffy and end sem will be little more diffy .and once you join this college you will be allotted a faculty advisor and he/she takes care of you

course curriculum is very good as they only focus on what is required for your course.

Dislikes

hostel food could be a bit better as it is not that good.

Placement Experience:

this college offers very good placements after 4th year and that is one of the main reasons why i've joined this college. companies like google, miscrosoft, observe ai , atlassian and many more mnc's. highest package is 57 and average lpa is 9 and 95% placements in top mncs

Quick review on Amrita School of engineering

Likes

Provides Room to improve for students by clubs and programs
Has good work life balance ,gives wiggle room
Good faculty, some are really good faculty

Dislikes

Some faculty members are strict and discrete
75% attendance minimum,based on the course the classes maybe too long
The architecture is a bit old and needs maintenance

The course curriculum is a bit difficult because it's ECE I didn't have a choise to choose my branch It's pretty real world based we have hands on project and stuff The course could improve on application based topics Every semester has 4 months it basically has two periodical tests or a single midsems the internal marks are based on quizes conducted and project works

Timetable for the course and conduction of exams

Dislikes

Timings for the students to go out after the classes
Process for going out for a student is a headache

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students are eligible for placements . students with no backlogs are only eligible and one needs to clear them if they have any to attend for placement and almost 70-80 percent places every year but it didn't happen this year due to recession

Likes

I love the environment of my college it gives peace and happiness
I like the various clubs that are there for students

Dislikes

I dislike the number of exams we have to intake
I dislike the exam pressure and stress students have to under go

Placement Experience:

The students can start internship from the 5th semester and various companies such as infosys , google , amazon have visited the campus and various offers were provided for all the departments present. The average package that is offered is of 35LPA

The campus life in Amrita Viswa Vidhyapeetam is really nice with so nice infrastructure

Dislikes

The non-veg is not at all allowed in the campus

The curriculam is really hectic with more than 15 lectures per week as well as the curriculam is really effective it makes the students ready for the real world problems. But there are no industry visits for the students. Faculty are really supportive.

Traditional and Strict rules

Likes

I liked the campus culture and rules which was too formal and traditional
I like the way of teaching in all faculties they are well qualified
There are many events going on to show our talent

Dislikes

They don't allow online food deliveries inside hostel
only packaged foods that is also upto 8 o' clock only
daily they will allow us to go out at permitted timings that is 3:30 to 6:30

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester students will be elgible for campus placements like other campuses. SAP labs, optum and so many mnc's. 54 lakhs and 4 lakhs per anum was upto this year. Above 90% students got placed .I want to go to do masters at us

Current Education life of Students

Likes

Research facilities are the best possible facilities available in the campus.
opportunities for internship and job recruitment.
All sorts of clubs where you can explore the field.

Dislikes

Timings of college. Start time is too early.
Also end time. Students get too exhausted to start any new internship or extra curricular activities.
Term exams are removed and project submissions were mandatory which made life stressful as the professors keep on pressuring students to bring Novelty to the project in limited time.

For 7th semester students are available for placements. Oracle, Amazon, Adobe, Google, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, microsoft and many more. Offers are made according to the interview process and results. Highest is 50,00,000 per Anum and AVG is 6,00,000 per Anum. Maximum all the students get placed by the end of 4th year. I am planning to go for higher studies.

My Amrita : My Best Choice

Likes

The Campus Infrastructure is top notch I liked it very much because there is more things to explore here
I liked the library because they designed a good environment in library to study.
I liked the behaviour of faculties with students , they are very supportive in academics

Dislikes

The Bus Facilities are not nice because they alloted less no of buses for day schoalars
The culture is not good here , the girls and boys are behaving vulgar.
There is no industrial trips and excursions in our college.

Placement Experience:

The Placements are not as I expected but the average package is very good about 18 LPA. But the Highest package is 38LPA only . It is very low when compared to other campuses.The students get eligiblity in 6 th semester if they have atleast 7.5 CGPA or else they will search for off campus placements. Probably 90% of students got placed this year.

Campus Placements of Amrita Bengaluru campus.
Teaching methods of Professors in Amrita University, They teach well.
Library is provided with numerous books, covers all genres of book types.

Dislikes

I dislike the prior permission system for outings.
Amrita food provided in Hostel Mess disappoints me always.
I don't like to wear College Uniform like a school child, This thing always make me feel irritate.

Placement Experience:

1. Students are provided with good placements in the Amrita Bangalore campus. 2. From the 7th semester onwards students will be offered campus placements. 3. Along with Placements, Internships are also provided for a limited number of students in the 6th Semester. 4. Highest Package in 2023 is 38.6 LPA and Average Package is 10.7LPA a for now.
