Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me was I got admission under scholarship and also many told that faculty is good for the course I chose And even the placement opportunities was far better than others

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offer internship after the interview .for the students and some of them are Adobe, Bosch, Accenture, Wipro, caterpillar after the internship period if the candidate is eligible then they recruit the student in the same company

Placement Experience

From semester 6 students are eligible for placements . students with no backlogs are only eligible and one needs to clear them if they have any to attend for placement and almost 70-80 percent places every year but it didn't happen this year due to recession

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Tution was fixed for particular scholarship category and we need to maintain the cgpa as per our category if not we would not come under the same for the upcoming year and also hostel fee varies accordingly year by year

Campus Life

The fests which take place in college is dastaan in the odd sem which is a multilevel test takes place for 3 days and kalanjali in the even sem where there's entire week dedicated to it and all the sports are there and competitions also take place

Eligibility of the course- cut off marks for exam I found application form and it's process in my intermediate College .they provided me application dates,fees etc. Details of reservation cab be found in the amrita portal during the submission of documents Difficulty level of exam is moderate to difficult A detailed information should have been provided during the exam regarding University

Remarks:

the hostel can be improved in all possible ways. the food is most of our concern. the labs and the drainage system should be maintained and checked regularly. only when thorough checks are done the college will the best place. even though its of less campus area its maintend well and organised so hoping a better stay in the coming days and wishing git to improve every single day here on. so is this. it has not only taught me education this place has taught me a living in the society. to remain successful try harder than yesterday and work smarter than today is the best thing i have learnt from here.

Remarks:

Overall College experience in terms of facilities (lab, hostel, campus), faculty was good except for the fact that placement cell was not very good and effective. Most of the students had to look for jobs outside the campus and it was quite a challengingAware that college has improved placements over the years now.

"Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham:Balancing Tradition with Modern Education"

Amrita seemed like a good package overall.Placement wise and fee wise it seems better than most colleges.Unlike VTU affiliated colleges,Amrita is deemed to be university.So even if you get backlogs you don't have to run around and waste time ... It's easy to give rexam. There are less formalities...And they don't mention you had a backlog in that subject in your final marks card. I tried for VIT but it's crowded and placements are very competitive coz of the number .Amrita is less crowded compared to other deemed Universities ...Read More
