Review of SPMR College

Likes

The overall environment was good and the teacher are very corporative , if have one some doubt , they will cleared to you . All the lecture are regular provided and the teacher have great teaching style to teach . The management team are great .

Dislikes

There are no scholarship provided by the college , even the internship are not provided. That is the one thing which disliked .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are interested in account , or you want to become a C.A and going to bank field . You can choose this couse . This course is very easy . The timing of the exams are 10am . The way of teaching is great and all the teachers are highly qualified. They will assist you if you have some doubt or any problem.

Likes

I liked the teaching method of my teacher is very good
They provide placement services and support for career advancement
They provide curriculum activities for my professional development

Dislikes

The infrastructure in my college is not that good

I choose commerce in my 12th class. After 12th i choose doing b.com courses as most of students doing this.The frequency of my exam is moderate level.The minimum requirement for passing the exam is Fourty percentage

Best college of my lifetime

Likes

The campus was very large almost 110 acres
The canteen is very clean and campus was also
A lot of placement were there for the students also

Dislikes

Behaviour of teaching staff with students
Assignment were throughout of the college after not getting checked
The network problem because it was away from college

Likes

College has a big ground for outdoor games
The internship which helps for future reference
People are friendly and helps if need in anything

Dislikes

The classroom are not at there best when it comes to Cleaning
The electricity goes off several times in rain

The timing of exam is good teacher finish there syllabus and if you pay attention in class you can easy Ace your exam but they should low the number of students as 100 students in one class makes it difficult to focus and understand

Likes

Teachers were so friendly and good, they were always there for us whenever we needed any sort of help.
There was tight and good security system
Every information was shared in the WhatsApp groups or Google classrooms

Dislikes

Canteen , didnt had much options ,for us to eat there
Not every class had ac, so some had to adjust in fans
The institution is not very spacious for us

Honestly, co curriculum was not that much , the main focuses were our exams and classes. Practical knowledge was like 60 out of 100 Which was gooof tooo The exams were not very difficult the language of the question paper was very easy to understand

College life in Jammu University

Likes

Good teaching facilities are available as the teaching staff is too good as compared to other colleges in my area.
Campus space is quite good and no restrictions on going out from the college
There is a separate space for girls where no boys can enter and a large washroom only for them.

Dislikes

There is not a single washroom and space for boys to take rest.
No classes in given time as prescribed and as according to the given timetable
Canteen food is not good and no proper hygiene.

The course is related to the terms of accounts and the business related terms. It is very useful for the various purposes of business and company and in our daily life like budgeting etc. the curriculum of this course deals with the preparation of accounts and management of the various terms of business.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE PROS AND CONS OF GCET,JAMMU

The campus is quite spacious and full of greenery.Its a very quite campus.The faculty is well qualified,polite and supportive.The HOD of the computer department is DR. SIMMI DUTTA who is a very supportive and polite teacher.
Also, DR. JYOTI MAHAJAN AND DR.BHAWNA SHARMA are very supportive. They will help you a lot with coding and placement related stuff respectively.

Dislikes

The campus isn't well maintained at all. The infrastructure hasn't been maintained since the college is built.The entrance of the college is so worst that nobody would come to know if any college exists at that place.
Our college covers an area of 108 acres but 75-80% of the area is just ruin and not being built up at all.The wshrooms are very dirty and filthy always running short of water due to which it is full of bad smell all the time.
The playground is quite big and covers a huge area but hasn't been maintained at all. There are no equipments and facilites for sports over here.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Just one company visits and that too isn't up to the mark.Its PISOFT. The highest average package in our campus was 6lpa earlier. Now that also doesn't exist.We have to go for off-campus placement. Only 4 students out of a batch of 63 students. After getting the degree.I will apply in a company for a job via off-campus placement.

Environmental area . Classes , sitting area, teachers behavior everything is good in you college teacher are very understanding they listen every student problems.
There are many things provided in our college like seperate room for student to spent their free time and lunch.
GYM IS also provided in our college. And basement area of the college is very food also all the girls sit comfortably there in summer

Dislikes

Sometimes water supply in college is very less. In afternoon there is very less water in the water tankers all the student didn't get it.
Some students behavior is no nice otherwise everything is good.
Sometimes washroom are not properly clear.

The course curriculum is very good in the college everything is good. There is no need to improve anything Everything is perfect and well settled. The exams times is divided into two shifts becuase there are many students to give exam so uts difficult to arrange.

Campus is in aesthetic place good infrastructure
Quality type of faculty always helpful and respectfull
Batcmates were too good interaction sessions used to be fruitful

Heating system was not available in winter season
Very less scholarships for general catogary
Library dont have enough books to read there
