Faculty is really very nice and supportive

Every department has separate library and demonstration halls

The infrastructure is old and is not being renovated
The flow of patient is relatively less than those of government hospitals

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is itself well appreciated course. It provides you with all the professional skills and knowledge which helps you make a qualified doctor. One can easily on 80000 to rs 1 lakh rupees per month as a junior resident after completing the course

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 495000 per year

Internships Opportunities

It is mandatory to do internship in the fifth year of the course. In this every student is required to do hospital work in shifts. Every in term is offered with this type and the rates of which are regulated by the state government

Placement Experience

After completion of the degree one can give the post graduation examination or can work as a junior resident in any government or private institute and can expect a salary package of 12lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship offered. The total fee for 1 year is ?495000. The tuition fee is same for all irespective of any categories they belong to. The fees is subjected to be increased every year. Selection criteria Neet examination

Campus Life

The infrastructure is decent and the hospital is equipped with almost every facility needed for the practical skills to be gained in the medical College. The institute does not provide great opportunities in terms of fests and cultural events.

Admission

The NEET UG examination is a really tough exam to crack. More the marks you get more you have the chances to get into a nice medical College. I have got a decent school and thus got admission into this college. I also consider taking admission here because of the good quality of doctors and teaching staff and the ample opportunity of learning

The teaching faculty is experienced. The course comprise 5 year comprehensive learning including 1 year internship. There are 19 subjects divided into 4 years 1st year including all non clinical subjects 2nd year with paraclinical and third and fourth year with all clinical subjects

Placement Experience:

You can get a job here after completing MBBS or md. Can go to any hospital or open your own. 1.5L per month is avg for a doctor. Starting around 90k a month. Internship gives 28500 per month. No batch has currently passed out from this college . Comparatively new college. 2020 batch(oldest batch) still doing internship.

After the degree we have to do a compulsory internship of one year in which we get the salary of ,12 thousand. After completing the internship we can do the residency at our hospital at the pay of 40-50 thousand with the acomditaion

After 12th, I appeared for JEE and NEET-UG exams. From JEE, I secured a top seat in NIT, Srinagar for Computer Science engineering and applied for admission. But my mind was somewhat inclined towards the medical field, so once the results were out, I chose ASCOMS as my college for pursuing MBBS. ASCOMS - Boon or Bane ?

I choose this college because of the affordability and distance from my home over other private colleges and also keeping in mind it has one of the best PG selection ratios in the state.
