Course Curriculum Overview

3

I Chose MBBS by my choice The more the practical and clinicals u perform the better u understand things rather than books . Real life experience is important I think what should be improved is that focus should be more on things that are more important for being a doctor. More towards clinical aspects more towards practical performance and less on things needed to cram Timing for exam of 80 mark is 3 hrs and is quite good enough time. 20 marks are of mcqs so total 100 mark.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I don't know this yet so about intership because I am a second year mbbs student so far. Ther is AOI American oncology ralted to ascoms But stipend given is about 15000 per month to mbbs interns . Whereas pg interns get stipend of about 50000 rs per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for mbbs course perI'm paying is 495000 INR / year. And admission fee during admission was around 6lac. There is no such category SC ST etc NRI seats are 10 in number having annual fee in us dollars . Approx 1 cr INR for complete course

Campus Life

3

Annually there is Fresher's event every year for the juniors 1st year students . Moreover there are hawana and Pooja and bhandars on special occasions as spiritual events . Sports period is not there. This should be noted . Extra curriculum should be must.

Hostel Facilities

3

In one hostel room 2 girls live. There are 2 separate beds.2 almirah 2 study tables and chair . Hostel meal is quite good. Time table for week meal is there U can take hostel after ur admission by giving an application for accomodation in office .

Admission

I applied to JMI new delhi for bsc biotechnology. But at that time I got selected in mbbs course in ascoms so I didn't enrolled for jmi. No I didn't get any rejection For admission first through NEET-UG then u have to undergo state counseling of j&k under JKBOPEE . Cutoff goes on increasing every year . In 2024 cutoff is around 600

Faculty

2.5

Faculty to student relationship is overall good . For any doubt you can refer and go to them without any hesitation. Faculties I liked are : Dr zeenat akhtar( HOD anatomy) Dr.Rishu Ghai, Dr Geetika mahajan( HOD physiology) Dr Sunil Sachdev (Asstt. Proff. Physiology) Didn't like : Biochemistry department . In first year there are two term1 and term 2 and then sendup examination after than u give your final prof Overall if we see students may fail in internal exam but pass in finals.

Other Applied Colleges

Jamia Millia Islamia University-[JMI] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Biotechnology)

Because I got selected in mbbs
