What Students Say

Likes

The campus was very large almost 110 acres
The canteen is very clean and campus was also
A lot of placement were there for the students also

Dislikes

Behaviour of teaching staff with students
Assignment were throughout of the college after not getting checked
The network problem because it was away from college

Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was i am very curious to know how engineering is done The frequency and timing of exam with perspective are very hard

I was under man builder's private company under NHIDCL for higway project like bridges flyover etc My project was to study the construction of flyover and girders it was about 30 m soan girder and my engineering was last for 5 months

Placement Experience

Campus placement are very good and they were giving us about 3 lakh per anum we were very excited to join the placement as the placement were not very difficult to clear almost eck friendly staff was there

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fee structure for one sem was in between 14000 to 16000 not more then this And the hostel fee was 17000 including mess It was cheap and best college in valley The fee was same for the other categories students almost The scholarship was also good kind of

Campus Life

As per the experience of campus life it was very good and we were allow to play at night also the campus was very large that's like huge open air college we were very comfortable in college campus There were indoor and outdoor sports facilities available there

Admission

Becoming this college was very near to my house and it was one of the best college in area and my relatives are also graduates from this college and they told me to get admission in this college for good future's alos

Faculty

Our teaching staff was average not very humbled and also checking was very strict we were not alloy to sit in exam with 70% of attendance you have minimum 75 % for exam faculty to students ratio was 1:6

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure
Another thing I liked about my college is well experienced faculty

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

the university is still under construction
