- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

- The campus is beautiful, it's covered with forest and beautiful scenery also air is super clean and fresh overall campus is beautiful
- Lot's of clubs and societies to join by which we can explore different types of activities and skills
- Lot of events conducted by the authorities in different festive occasions and also lot of awareness campaigns performed for students
Dislikes
- Few cases of drugs related stuff which I don't like
- Seniors forcing students to call them sir
- Teachers are experienced but not very good at teaching
Placement Experience:
Not sure but I think from 6th semester ur eligible for placements.
There are lot of Companies that visit NIT Hamirpur like google , Infosys,TISCO and etc.
Highest package ever offered is 1.75cr in CS branch and each year 1cr plus package are offered to cs students by different companies like google , meta and etc .
The percentage of students placed is normally 80 to 90percents overall.
And I also intend to get a decent package after my degree

- The campus not Hamirpur is so beautiful and has many sceneries to look around.
- The climate is also so nice and it is easy to handle
- The places to roam apart from nit Hamirpur are more
Dislikes
- The food is not so good that students from different areas can't adjust to it
- There is the drug culture in nit Hamirpur but the administration is trying to make an end to it
- Some of the places are restricted that they are dangerous.

Placement Experience:
The campus placements of nit Hamirpur are very much good and the highest package offered in 2022 is 173 lpa and in 2023 56 lpa. I don't think so that that the starting packages are very bad. Average package is 7.54 lpa in all over courses

- Research scopes, project aspects, overall infrastructure.

- After 7 pm out of hostel is not allowed

My college place is not good of the core branches and cse it and the ai branch tech placement are good and in core branch, average package is 6 lakh and High is 9.5 lakh per year and tech high placement is 50 to 60 lakh

- I like the campus of the college containing so many parks.
- I like the auditorium of the college which is very big and nice.
- I like the seniors which are very helpful to us.
Dislikes
- I do not like some of the faculty of my college
- There is the scarcity of water in our hostel .
- I do not like the quality of food given to us in hostel
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are course is very relevant and the subject are 0tovided is also good and the further academic pursuits many things and the improvement 8 is required in physics part and the eqxm tim is from 9 to 10:30 and the difficulty level is moderate

- This campus is very beautiful and large in area . The structure of building is really unique
- I love the teaching style of faculty in nit Hamirpur.
- I meet many of my new batchmate and friends who are from different cultures and i learned many things from them
Dislikes
- In this nit the water supply is very bad . In many bathroom there is no water
- I dislike the behaviour of senior in nit Hamirpur
- I little hate the food of nit Hamirpur mess
Placement Experience:
The placement is pretty good is our for Civil department it's about 8 12 lakh average package per annum and the highest package last year is 1.2 CR for CS department and I am from Civil department and my interest is is really in Civil department and I hope I get up I get the best pic package from in my class

- The greenery and scenic beauty of the college is mesmerizing. The landscape is pretty good.
- The seniors are pretty amazing and helpful. They usually help you in most cases and if you are in any problem they will surely help you
- Also the food in the mess is pretty amazing. The variety is good. Also the girlsRatio is good. About 200:600 boys
Dislikes
- Sometimes in the hostel we face a but problems like water issues(very sometimes)
- Also their are a lot of restrictions we face in the college.
- Also their is problem with network. Sometimes i dony get 5g signal in my histelRoom. But on top floors the 5g speed comes 300-400mbps

Placement Experience:
The placements of my college is pretty good. For Computer science and electronics communication, electrical engineering, and mathematics, scientific computing is pretty good.
This year, we got hundred percent placement for chemical engineering.
Overall the placemnt is good and we have proper programs how to get admission off camous
we got a lot of placements in good companies like Microsoft and Google with high packages from core branches. Two.. about 30% students take place in the core branch and the rest placement in tech field.

- Boys to girls ratio is 5:1 in btech courses except architecture

NIT HAMIRPUR has considerably 100% placement rate except few branches like computer science and ece...
In campus placement offers a wide range of placement packages from 4lakh to 1cr.
Off campus placement i dont know about that

- This college is full of greenary surrounded by its enormous campus.
- Seniors of this college are very supportive and they offer help whenever we are in need of it. They even provide notes to us.
- This college contains large number of clubs all with different ideas and moto. This college emphasis on extra curricular activities.
Dislikes
- Restriction for first year to roam in campus and to admire it charm.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I always want to opt CS due to my interest in programs and computer.
Their curriculum train us to get a proper software engineer,it includes communication skills course and labs and student can choose what they want to learn from second or third year from different fields.
The curriculum includes lots of practical files and assignment which takes lot of time and causes student to practice less their own and they often engage in completing practical files by using chatgpt and copy others.

- Campus is located on the hills area so it is fun to roam in the campus.
- Weather of the campus is very nice being situated in the mountains.
- Girls to boys ratio is also good than most of the engineering colleges approximately 1 : 3.5
Dislikes
- NIRF ranking of the college is not upto the mark.
- You can't change your branch after taking admission into the college.
- Minimum 75 percent attendance criteria is so bad.
Placement Experience:
Placements vary branch to branch .you can start working as an intern from the 5th semester itself but it solely depends on you and your skills that you'll get a internship or not. Civilians placement is not upto the mark but you'll get a job if you have skills.
