My experience at NIT Hamirpur

In our college their is no tuition fee increase policy, we although have constant fee for every semester except the first one. The 1st semester charges higher than rest all. The complete cost to me for my education per semester is 85000. But in the 1st semester it is 110000. Scholarship provided in our college are only for the SC/ST caste ( full remission on tuition fees not hostel fees ) and the student whose family income is less than 1 lakh / year.

There is only one and one type of waiver that is income waiver, if income is less than 1 Lakh then no tution fee will be required, if income is better 1to 5lakh then 25% of the tution will be required.

The tution fees for General category students is 83000 per semester. But its comparatively less for SC/ST students. Total fees per semester for a general student can go upto 110000, including hostel fees. NSP scholarships available.

THE INSTITUTE TAKE FEES THROUGH SBI ONLINE PORTAL AND ALONG WITH THAT THERE ARE MANY AVAILABLE SCOLARSHIP SCHEMES AS WELL AWARE AND FEES FOR EWS IS ALSO LOWER COMPARED TO OTHER CATEGORIES AND STUDENT CAN ALSO APPLY FOR LOAN THROUGH SBI'S NIT HAMIRPUR BRANCH.

The fee structure of this college is pretty complex and one can visit the webiste of NIT hamirpur to have a clear knowledge of what kind of scholarships are available. The college does give remission in fees to students belonging to pors families.

Generally tution fees is 80000 pe semester but for SC ,ST there is no tution fees and for other people who have income less than one lakh in a year ,for them also no tution fees,income between 1 and 5 lakh 1/3 tution fees and between 5 and 8 lakh 2/3 tution fees. Many national scholarship are there for student which give financial support to students.placement percentage is too good
