NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This is a good placement record for our college. The majority of the students are placed in our college. Some of them opt for higher studies also. In the third year, only you may seat for placement. Seven to ten students got more than a crore placement last year.

From the 7th sem placement starts. The highest package of my college is 1.5cr in the IT sector. The average package at my college is almost 1500000/year and almost 75 percent of students get placed in my college. After getting the degree I go to placement.

So basically you are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. The highest package this year is 1.08 crore per annum with 8 students above one crore. The average package is 20LPA. With 90% of students placed. Companies that frequently visit are Samsung, Amazon, Oracle, IBM, etc. I plan to get placed after degree completion.

The students are eligible from the start of their final year. so, they can start their preparation early and grab the position in good companies. College also helps the students to become ready for placements with many webinars and placement talks. After covid, a lot of companies visited here for placements. A lot of big tech companies visited like Amazon, Qualcomm, etc visited here.

In the college there were a lot of companies such as amazon, TATA, reliance, infosys, wipro, tcs, etc. These all organisations are very reputed and have good experience of hiring candidates from different areas. So in these placement rounds out faculty and placememnt unit had trained us to grab the opportunity of placement giving initial packages of 10 LPA.

My college has decent Placement record . Many students are placed every year in many companies all over India. Student become eligible for placement in final year. Highest package offered is about 35 lks and average is of 8 lakhs. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Larsen and Turbo visit regularly in the campus.

Companies start visiting the college for placements of final year(7th and 8th semester) students. This year's placement drive was virtual and many big companies like Amazon participated in the drive. Samsung R&D and Paytm were the major recruiters with a good CTC.

Campus placement is above average as it's an NIT. Students in their final year are eligible for placement and placement starts from the 7th semester and plenty of companies come for recruiting from different sectors and for different posts. About 80 % of students get placed. Package ranges from 3 LPA to 35 LPA for Mechanical Engineers according to last year's data.

My choice was NIT Hamirpur due to its placement record our college has a very good placement program and the college also invites very good companies for the college placement rounds. The college placement committee works as the motivating force during the college placement drive which helps us to attain good salary offers. The highest salary offer was around 40 LPA and the average salary offer was around 12 LPA. Bloomberg, Amazon, Paytm, Samsung, Mathworks, Texas, etc were among the companies that took part in the college placement drive.

From the 7th semester, the student is eligible for the campus placement. The highest package in civil engineering from NIT Hamirpur is 1500000 approx. A student has to maintain a CGPA of 7 or above to get a chance in placements.
