JUIT Solan Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college has the best infrastructure and the location. The placement percentage has dropped down to average. Though overall I would suggest it to be a great college, with so much to learn and improve in yourself. You would see yourself to be a better person after spending 4 years in this college.

Faculty excellent, administration worst environment peaceful overall good but placement for civil worse.

The administration is not supportive and a hypocrite. Most of the times they try to supress you with different laws. I never have an issue with the college but I always dislike the college management. Farewell of batch 18 was also shifted to college as college administration doesn't want the students to go the 5-star resorts which was happening since 2006

Well, right now we are in 3rd year so not very much into the scene, but according to seniors, the placements this time have gone really down. Also, the most common problem is that our sister college JIIT, get preferred while in placement and also the teachers there help only their students,

Although the mentality of students and most of the faculty is great but mentality of VCs Director and our warden is very bad they don't allow girl student to come out from their hostels after 9:30pm sharp.

I joined JUIT in 2010 so I got admission through AIEEE exam conducted at that time. Now the things have changed, I hear. I got a rank of 54000 something. I joined this college as it was offering me the course of my choice ,i.e, Electronics and Communication.Also , after visiting this beautiful college once, I could not go anywhere else.

Admissions are through JEE. You need a good rank to get CSE. Great curriculum & campus placement. Good residential facility as it is a completely residential campus. Admin is strict but very helpful.

I took IIT JEE and my result was ok as i scored rank below 1 lakh. As a normal student with an average rank it was my one of few options.

I gave AIEEE and scored 30,000 rank. It is the best college available at this rank which is around 250 kms from my hometown. The past placement figures were very good which motivated me to opt for this college.

I took admission in biotechnology on the basis of my marks scored in 12th (79.8%). But for all other courses you need to appear in IIT JEE. I opted for this college because it was ranked 1 private biotechnology university in india ( for btech biotechnology) by Biospectrum.
