My Chitkara

Likes

The placements are gud.The area around the university is beautiful.The University is very beautiful.Many freedom fighters status was made to remember them and their contribution for the country.For sports,there is a sport complex and different zones.
The food of mess is great.The teachers are very great.The structure of building looks great. Many artistic work is done on the walls of the university. The greenery done in the university looks beautiful and mind-blowing. The environment is amazing.
The class size is genuine.The sections are divided into 2 groups each which is good.The hostel of seniors and juniors are different.Two seater rooms and four seater rooms are different. Girls hostel have AC in them.Boys hostel have cooler in them....

Dislikes

The timing for the hostel at night is only 10PM.
The mess time table changes anytime.Food tastes bad sometimes.
The campus is small as compared to other universities.

Placement Experience:

Placements of the university is good. The placement starts from 3rd year.But many students have also got their placements in the 2nd year through the CEED (The placement cell).But maximum chance of placement is in 4th year.

Likes

Every thing is nice here the environment the staff and also the campus is located at a very good place we are loving here and enjoying
The people are very supportive and frindly and we love to be around them
The ground for football and other sports is well maintained every day

Dislikes

Nothing as in special i dislike about this university every thing here is well maintained
In the mess menu chicken is not. Provided that i feel should be there
College is little small compared to the other campus

Placement Experience:

Placement in college sre very good almost 90 percent of the batch gets placement around 200 companies comes to the college every year and thdy give good packages to all the students in the companies with a good position

Likes

I like the college infrastructure and placement is outstanding over all other nearby universities
The number of students in per class is normal not too big class
The teachers are very Frank with all students

Dislikes

Student can only be in campus before 10pm
Hostel do not allow students to go out of hostel without parents permission
Campus is too small to hangout with friends

Placement Experience:

Student can apply for college placement from 5th semester and onwards but students can apply for internship in 4th semester. The package of chitkara University is 9 lpa and the highest package was 1.11 cr that was offered by Amazon. I think all students got their placement. My plans after getting degree is got placed in top companies

in 6th semester students starts getting internship offers from various oncampus company visit. 40+ companies visit to campus for offering internships. highest package 1.01 cr per annum and average package offered is 7.4 lakhs per annum.

Likes

things I like is food here , it's better than other
other things I like is teacher they are good
other thing I like here is sports , it's good

Dislikes

the behaviour of wardens and higher ups is very bad they don't try to understand other
Development is so slow and very less, if you ask for one thing I will take weeks to execute
The academics teachers of fist year is bad , they just teach and gone, they don't care about the students

curriculum covers , data science , machine learning, linux, cloud computing, it includes case studies and real life project to provide practical applications of the project,they provide resource for student's which is healpfull

My experience at Chitkara University

Likes

There is a ot la f opportunity in the sports
Academic are upto the current word circumstances
The real life experience of industry visit and exposure

Dislikes

The campus is small compare to other campus

As increase in technology the computer science course is most relevant today.So here we get all relevant courses . We get hand to hand experience.the Exam are moderately hard .There is need of improvement in the number of courses per semester

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the classes and the labs.
i liked the faculty as they are full of experienced and skilled professors

Dislikes

the hostel facilities could have been better as the hostels are not well maintained.
there should have been more facilities for sports .
There could have been extracirricular activities for hostellers to do after hostel hours

Placement Experience:

The placment record of Chitkara University is at top standard compared to other private universities. Chitkara aims to get the students placement ready before their final year itself with many students getting placed at top companies in 3rd year itself. Infosys, Google, Meta are among top companies that visit the campus offering placement opportunities. Chitkara also helps with students starting their own start ups, which is the direction i want to pursue after my degree is completed

Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh review

Likes

Cleanliness of the campus is quite well.
Complaint system of the hotels is very active they respond to a perticular complaint very fastly
Environment for entrepreneurship is quite well and have a separate club for that under the supervision of well trained faculty

Dislikes

Roads from pinjore to nanakpur is quite bad
Also the after 9P.M there are no. Auto or public transport
There are no malls if we have to purchase clothing items then we have to go to Chandigarh or any other place

Placement Experience:

Around 95% of students gets placed from the University and it's average is also quite awesome that is 8 lakh per annum the lastest offer made tk our senior is 39lpa and my plans after the degree is to be placed and then after I will go for the PhD

This college has very short campus size

Placemt is 100 percent Many student placed in big company such as TCS Infosys etc and their average package is 6 to 8 lakh. 100 percent placement sure. But this year got 99 percent placemt in CSE branch

The infrastructure is very good and the ideas are fantastic to divide the sections and blocks iwe are very familiar to college is couple of days its very
There are so many clubs so u can also make ur carrier in them and take knowledge to Make ur cv better

Dislikes

The university is too small i can say only 18-19 acres they need to spread the university more
Sometimes the food is not good and nothing else every thing is okay

Placement Experience:

Placments is very good u just need to focus on ur studies and perfom good in the academics and teachers helps alot to that u will get a placement.. 50+ companies visit every year and alots of offers.. averdage pagkage is 8 lacks and highest is 40 lacs per annus something. U just need to make ur cgpa above 6 and no reapper and supply My plans after degree is mayhe i will stufy further about something else
