Every thing is nice here the environment the staff and also the campus is located at a very good place we are loving here and enjoying
The people are very supportive and frindly and we love to be around them
The ground for football and other sports is well maintained every day

Dislikes

Nothing as in special i dislike about this university every thing here is well maintained
In the mess menu chicken is not. Provided that i feel should be there
College is little small compared to the other campus

The course curriculum here is well maintained and all the intergety is provided to the studenst the course is very well maintained and every aspect we are getting trained through this course which helps us in future

Placement in college sre very good almost 90 percent of the batch gets placement around 200 companies comes to the college every year and thdy give good packages to all the students in the companies with a good position

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is 70,000 which is think is affordable for a person who wants to study in a university like chitkarauniversity since there is no sich huge hike in the fees since 5 6 years and i feel this is okay

Campus Life

Utsaah sports fest, ranghotsav and many more events are held at the campus there are several clubs around 9 in which cuarcs is the most favorite one many dj night s and 6v6 football night cricket and many more are held

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 options for the hostel room 2 people and 4 people which is chanakya and bose hostel There are 2 mess major kne for the Junior s and ither for the rest of the 2 3 4 year student s hostler food is good mess quality is very good

Hostel Fee: INR 66000 per year

Admission

The admission process was smooth and very easy In order to find application form, fees, dates you canjust do it in the university office or onlinein a matter of minutes also fees payment online is secure. Ther are no reservation in university. The variation in timing of exam is almost with a gap of month. In order to improve the admission process virtual tour of university can be added also proper distribution of fees online

Faculty

The staff here is very frindy and they are well qualified mostly every faculty member is very intelligent and always they support us in any situation the staff is well qualified with phds and etc and nice

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities. I was not rejected by any colleges which i applied. For admission you have to fill registration form after that you have to attend the councelling.
