Course Curriculum Overview

As increase in technology the computer science course is most relevant today.So here we get all relevant courses . We get hand to hand experience.the Exam are moderately hard .There is need of improvement in the number of courses per semester

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am from 2023 batch our semester fee is 70,000 rupees for all the semester.There is no hike in between the course . The scholarship is available to the students who scored highest in two semester continuously

Campus Life

There are alot of fest take place in university.The fest generally held for freshers after their enrollment and other during the festival. Here library have vast number of books . There is a lot of sports opportunity as well . The sports trails take place regularly and sport tournament take place in April also. There are a lot of cultural and academic clubs as well like sufni for music , IEEE for engineering

Admission

The eligibility criteria is minimum 65 percent in class 12 .The application form is available online or you can visit the university. In the prospectus you will find each and every thing about university. There is no reservations. The exam thake place frequently throughout the course and they range from easy to hard according to the course

Faculty

The faculty here are very enthusiastic and approachable. They help in building the profile and encourage to approach the problem practically and innovative way .the faculty and students is 1:70 often .All faculty have atleast PhD in their name .

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities. I was not rejected by any colleges which i applied. For admission you have to fill registration form after that you have to attend the councelling.
