Medical college life

Likes

Freedom provided in the college attached bathroom that other college dont have
Library open spacious and clean along with fest part in college helps us to releave stress

Dislikes

The burden we had for studying we don't have much approach on practical aspects we are just craming our theory running after the pg admission so preparing for that

This course helps us to serve people along side making the money as this is india everything is not what upto what is decided attendance should not be taken as criteria for the eligibility of student knowledge does. Exam are divided in 2 types internal exams and university exam which consist of theory and practical exam.

Ups and downs

Likes

The interaction between teachers and students
Sports activities held at every function.
The recreational activitied held once in a month.

Dislikes

There is not enough room for everything.
Sometimes the environment is really toxic.
Hostels should be made with more rooms .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects that interested me in this course was the money and the work that we do for pur society. The curriculum is very practical and is helpful in the actual real world. The curriculum is not for everyone as it is a very time taking course.

Level of education and excellence is great in our college with expert staff
I love our hostel and rooms they are very good according to govt college
I like our campus its in middle of city and green

Dislikes

No sports complex in campus, there is only one badminton court
Campus area is small and much disturbance is there because of its location
Strict rules in college and no rules and regulations pertaining to cultural activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoy our curriculum as it's more of a practical knowledge based and learning about human body is fun. Our curriculum is entirely practical knowledge based and prepares js about real world as we are trained in the clinics regularly. Course can be imoroved by being less hectic and giving students limited working hours Exams are conducted once every year and moderate level of difficulty

Likes

I like our campus . It's very peaceful and at the centre of city
I also like our hostel building it's like a private college
I also like library . It's open till 12 at night and home of many students during exams

Dislikes

I don't like mandatory attendance of 75% and hectic schedule
I also don't like as there can be other food options inside campus there is only one cafeteria
I don't like the busy schedule of doctors working here

Placement Experience:

There are no campus placements . After completing internship degree is provided and students can apply for various jobs and appear for neet pg exam. During internship stipend is provided to the students . I will clear next exam and then percue my pg in medicine

I did +2 in medical stream and I also like medical as well as professional line so I chose that filed. Most faculty qualified Master in pharma some of in which phd in particular subject. When I was the student term exam is annually conducted but at present they are conducted semester wise

I personally chose BDS because I have always liked practical based work more frequently and this field to experience hand on hand experience with the patient Faculty students ratio of college is about 5:100

As i want to get it write i write campus infrastructure is too good
Security of campus is good and i like it
Social environment of campus also i like a lot

Dislikes

Flexibility of using lab apparatus and instruments
Cleanliness is not so good means it not up to the mark
Canteen of college i dont like as it is not under budget

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements I visited two companies brawn laboratory and polymed They offered 2.5 lpa as fresher Percentage of students getting placed is to low because some students are passed the final exam and there is only 10% of students getting placed I work for brawn laboratory six months after that i worked as pharmacist in Sarvodaya hospital for getting experience

All the people here in Swami Devi Dyal Hopital and Dental College are very friendly to be with.

Dislikes

Transportation here in Swami Devi Dyal Hopital and Dental College is not that upto the mark and many difficulties can be caused.

The courses here in Swami Devi Dyal Hopital and Dental College are quite good. I am pursuing BDS from here and all the facilities which are provided are quite good as well. The faculty here is also quite good in their work.

Pros/Cons of choosing the college

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the college. The faculties are very good
The teacher are helpful and very much educated
Lots of facilities such as library, sports are provided

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college could be better
The canteen could me more neat and clean.
More facilities should be provided to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bds as there ar no emergency patients as compared to MBBS. If you can establish your own clinic you can earn a handsome money. You can be your own boss. The student ratio is also very good in our college. The faculties are very much educated and supportive. Though the studies are little hard still you can pass exams easily if you study hard. The exams are on time and the teacher will guide you very well for exams.
