Likes

I like our campus . It's very peaceful and at the centre of city
I also like our hostel building it's like a private college
I also like library . It's open till 12 at night and home of many students during exams

Dislikes

I don't like mandatory attendance of 75% and hectic schedule
I also don't like as there can be other food options inside campus there is only one cafeteria
I don't like the busy schedule of doctors working here

Course Curriculum Overview

Mbbs course is 5.5 year program including 1 year of internship. Exams are conducted once every year in our university. We are taught both theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Students are made to attend regular clinical postings .exams are held on every weekly interval and are of average difficulty

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mandatory internship is provided to all the students with a stipend of 17k per month . After that students can give interview and apply for in campus jobs as jr or cam apply for jobs outside or give the pg entrance and proceed higher education.

Placement Experience

There are no campus placements . After completing internship degree is provided and students can apply for various jobs and appear for neet pg exam. During internship stipend is provided to the students . I will clear next exam and then percue my pg in medicine

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 5 lakh rupees is the cost of education in an government medical College Scholarship are available only for reserved category students Recently bond policy was implemented which made a bond mandatory 5 year service after mbbs or a 30 lakh RS payment other than that everything seems okay . One lakh per year fees also seems pretty high as compared to other govt colleges

Campus Life

Endorphin is the main festival organised every year in this college Almost every book is available in the central library of medical field Rooms are well furnished and have high tech classroom Badminton cricket and several others sports are available

Hostel Facilities

Room are actually very great as compared to other govt colleges . Buildings are new and attached bathroom and balcony with every room . And 2 big wardrobes are provided along with other furniture. There is good security. In kcgmc mess is co operative and run by students of kcgmc Model town sector 5 is a good locality around campus

Hostel Fee: INR 21000 per year

Admission

You need to clear neet ug with physics chemistry bio as subjects in 12th class . You should be 12th pass Application form is released online. Reservation is provided based on caste category. Neet ug exam is conducted once every year . Moderate level of difficulty but cut off is increasing every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

Kalpana chawla government medical college is a renowned institute in this region. I am doing my MBBS course from this college. I got admission in this college through NEET entrance examination. I applied for NEET exam after completing my 12th. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

Medical College

Being one from the general category it is quite tough to cover the cutoff of the NEET exam. I got 625 marks with a rank of about 10000. There are only about 1 lakh government seats including all the medical courses. Getting admission in a private medical college for a middle class student is not aya all possible. Admission in government medical college can be taken by applying for the NEET exam conducted every year in ye month of may-june. Reservations are available for some categories which is unfair but the system works like this. The difficulty level of the NEEt exam sis decreasing day by day which is even worse because the cut off in increasing to another level which makes it even difficult to get a government medical seat. The reservation needs to be removed completely and the exam pattern should be set on a certain level....Read More
