Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

Campus is good and hostels are also good
Hostel food are quite good ,decent and also water supply is good
Class rooms are good facilities of Ac are also available

Dislikes

Cleanliness can be more by cutting grass and stabilise dustbin every where
Management is not good and market is not good
Sport facilities like cricket ground and pitch is not good there is cemented pitch which is not good for practice

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement highest package is 1.25 cr and average package is 11 lakhs About 60 percent of the student are placed during placement After getting degree I want placement in core branch

Nit kurukshetra has very green and lush campus which always gives a positive vibes
Sports facilities of this college is amazing with a very big sports ground.
Seniors are very supportive and humble to everyone

Dislikes

I don't like mees food. I just miss my mom's hand food
Some teachers are helping but some teachers don't teach properly.
So many assignments are given by professor.

Placement Experience:

Nit kurukshetra has very good placement record for all branches .Most of the big MNC's come here. students get placement by PPO during internship in 3rd year. They are eligible for campus placement from 4th year.

Review as a Fresher at NIT Kurukshetra

The thing i like the most in this college is the sports facilities available. There are plenty of options for students to choose from and excel in
The seniors in this college are extremely friendly and helpful. There is no case of ragging whatsoever which makes it easier for freshers to open up
There are many clubs and one can be in different clubs at the same time

Dislikes

The faculty for the freshers is usually the PhD students who dont have much experience which causes trouble for students to learn and they have to learn via sources like YouTube
The in-time for girls is set strictly to 8:30pm whereas boys can roam around till however long they want to.
The mess food is produced in large quantities which often makes it pretty impossible to eat.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities provided here are good. There is a mininum of 4 LPA in every branch and the highest package this year went to Microsoft with 3 recruitments worth 51 lacs per annum. The top recruiters were google, microsoft, NVIDIA, Winzo etc. The average placement percentage was 80-90% and the average package was 11 LPA. There is a CGPA based eligibility criteria at about 7.2 CGPA to sit for placements. My personal plans are moving abroad for higher studies like MBA

The atmosphere of the college is good enough
The food of mess is good and the fees of mess is payable
The faculty of the college is very interactive

Dislikes

I don't like the infrastructure is the college
The placements of the college is not so good
I don't like the curriculum of the college

The placements of my college is not so good in the last two year .The average package of my college is around 11 lpa .So most of the students after doing the course depends on the off campus placements

Campus is full of Lush green trees and beautiful flowers
Climate here is very good. Not too hot not too cold till now
Not too far away from main city. Near Railway station

Dislikes

Mess food is sometimes okaish and sometimes very bad
In time for 1st yr students and cllg gate closes after 10pm
Campus feels small especially when the cllg is claiming to be 300+ acres

Placement Experience:

Cllg provides excellent placement and internship opportunities for eligible candidates. Companies like Google , Microsoft and Amazon come to our cllg for providing interships and placements at very lucrative packages

Balancing excellence and affordability, a review of my college NIT kurukshetra

Likes

I really liked the classrooms here, how they provide us with ac classrooms and nice furniture
I also liked the library, its open 24*7 and has a buckloads of books
I also liked the CCN, its fully air conditioned and has a lot of AC

Dislikes

The college life is too boring here, no night life in the college
The fests are boring here, we just have to sit and watch
The freshers was also very bad, also the hostels arent maintained that well

The placements from the last 2 years arent being that good but overall the placements here are outstanding, 20 lpa for cse branch isnt a joke, the highest package sometimes goes upto to 1 cr too! Big companies like google microsoft come here

In the first semester there are many different types of courses related and unrelated to CSE. We have programming and we also have some mechanical engineering stuff. There is a choice between finance and communication skills.

THE NIT KURUKSHETRA EXPERIENCE

Likes

College has a beautiful campus with greenary all over the campus, college has a lake where students can spend time peacefully.
College has every facility that a student needs, such as wifi, 24/7 library and you can even order food in the middle of the night.
College provides classes for sports, yoga etc so that the student remains healthy.

Dislikes

The clubs and societies are not much active, they become active on fests and events.
Boys and girls ratio is weak, like 4:1 for non-core branches.

Placement Experience:

College placements starts from the end of 6th semester(3rd year), in recent years about 200+ companies visited the college and the placements are good enough. Highest package is about 60 Lpa and average is 10-15 Lpa. CS and IT branch gets a high amount of studnet placed about 80-90% but core branches like Mechanical, civil placemtns are very low. Prominent recuriters are Amazon, hitachi, honeywell, Delhivery, Microsoft etc. if No campus placement is offered studnet should focus on giving offcampus exams and interviews and should participate in hackathons and contests.

Likes

Infrastructure is the best out of the all major nit's
Friendly environment is there in the campus
Market, swimming pool, lake every facility is present

Dislikes

Girls time is only till 8 30 pm which is way bad for them
5 km far from kurukshetra city, auto price is so high
Very old and rude faculty and very old curriculum

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good. Most of the people got placement at least 1 package per person. There are many aspirants for further studies like upsc, gate and cat. They also start preparing from second year.

Ragging free college seniors are supportive
Eco friendly campus ang greenery environment
Good placement , most of the professor are also good

Dislikes

College is so old so some hostels building are old
No non veg here so it's tough for non vegetarian
Mess fee is high , canteen are not good , no coach for any sports

College overall placement are good but if I talk about last year it's was not good placement percentage decrease as in Market layoffs are going on . My plan after degree is i want to prepare for civil services

Life at NIT Kurukshetra

The academic structure has entirely changed after the appointment of the new director, which is interesting and beneficial to the students.

The new syllabus is good, which ensures full concentration towards internship during the sixth semester and students do not get pressurised by unnecessary exams
