Kurukshetra University A Dream Place

Likes

The complete lush green camlus of 3700 sq.yards
The best faculties from all over the world
The kind of infrastructure and facilities available to the students

Dislikes

The security related to safety of girls. Random outsiders tease girls
The cleanliness in the university is very poor
The parks in the uni. Are not so maintained with a lot of garbage

Every year the placement cell provides various job opportunities to students by welcoming various companies and industries for the recruitment of deserving students. The average annula package ranges from 2.5-4 lakhs per year. However in case u don't wanna get into the job you can pursue higher studies in the foreign countries as well.

A prospective of student on kurukshetra University

Likes

Faculty and teachers are very hard working and punctuate to their work and time. Infrastructure of the department is very Good and new building is constructed which is ventilated with ac ducts.
Faculty and clarical staff of department is very kind and polite and help in each and every situation.teaching method of faculty is very good , they used projectors for quick learning . teachers provide study material for learning and understanding.
Department have its own park to relax and refresh mind for students and other faculty members.it contain fountain, a variety of trees having different coloured flowers which look so pretty

Dislikes

There is lack of benches in. Department. Not proper cleaning of department.
All 6 day a week we go for classes and labs which is not obviously good thing we don't get proper rest.
Some teachers are not punctuate to their time otherwise all are good

Placement Experience:

There are alot placement from the department directly . From 4th semester students are eligible for the placement in companies and industries. There are 2 companies that visited our department for placement and approximately 5-6 offers are made. Highest package is 6 lac and lowest package is 4 lac per annum . 5-6percent of students get direct job in companies and industries. My plans after degree is to pursue PhD .

My experience at my department is best . Teachers behaviour is good they helped us in learning subject as well as other behavioural aspects of life that will help us in living the life . They guide us for carrier and motivate us to learn best . They
They are experts in their subject . So we are happy to learn by these teachers.

Dislikes

Single teacher have provided diffrent responsibility of University so sometimes they can't give enough time to their students . So their work load should be minimized

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum orientation is quite good . Subjects have wide area of knowledge . That will help us in future . Exams are based on they students knowledge testing with holistic development of children . Exams include moderate as well as difficult question that will help all level of students to check their knowledge level

Life at university

Likes

campus is fully airy and clean and cleaning staff is also doing properly their job.
Faculty is well experienced and their teaching method is superb.
Girls is safe in each place of university.

Dislikes

distance between hostel and department is large so starting bus service.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose chemistry course. so I preferred this university to pursue this course because their faculty is well experienced and very hard working and helping the students in every way. Some exams is easy but some exams level are moderate difficult but we easily appeared exams due to our teachers guidelines.

The things I like the most is the faculty of the committed department the faculty is all qualified and well maintained and they all are PHD
The things I like other than the faculty is the environment in the university the environment in the university is very good there is a greenery in the university
The other things I like in the university is the infrastructure and the university market all the things we want we get from the university market

Dislikes

The main concern in the University of the girls safety that I dislike the most
The other things I dislike the security of the university because even the fight the university security does not take any action
The other thing I dislike is food the mess food is below average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course help me in many ways because of this course I am able to do internship in the IIT Ropar and also I want to purchase PhD which is held by this course the most things I want to improve is the lab facility in the university because the budget the university is very come so there as very less opportunity for the student to do lab work so I want to improve that particular things in the university and I also want to add internship for the average student in a very good Institute

Faculty is very good. For different branches many facilities was there
Infrastructure is very good . Proper labs very there
The teacher interacts very decently . Faculty is very good

Dislikes

Bus facility is not available in the college
We are far away from our home . This is the major concern
There is nothing to dislike in our university

Placement opportunities id decent who wants to go to the companies like ranbaxy they provide placement opportunities. 80% students go for placement You have decent marks in your semester exams. So you can go for placement opportunities

Some insights of my college

Likes

Cleanliness in college is quite good, has a proper environment for studying.
The university has good greenery,our college building is new
The university has canteens and cafe where food is of good quantity

Dislikes

The university has central library which has fixed time for girls
The equipments in the laboratory are not good
Their is a little bit of strictness for girls

Curriculum and the exams timing is in accordance with our academic and competitive development. Msc.chemistry syllabus is designed according to CSIR NET syllabus. Exams taken range from average to tough

Life At Kurukshetra University.

Likes

The clerical and non teaching staff is one of the prior things i like about the University. They are very polite towards us and help us in any possible way without being rude .
The teaching staff is also well quallufied and give their best knowledge. The teacher's helps not only in studies but guide us on our other life issues too.They have complete knowledge of their subjects and teaches us through different merhods.
The infrastructure of the University is quite good .

Dislikes

The festivals are celebrated less in university. Cultural fest is organised only once in a year .Apart from them there are no or less cultural activities.
The library timing for girls is 6 pm only which is quite a issue . In some courses the lectures timing is upto 5 pm .The girls hence do not get enough time to study in library or tu issue books.
The university charge a high amount for Revolution form for the students who either got failed or secured less marks then expected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is based on latest guidelines given by UGC .It emphasis on academic and overall Development. It include Elective subject others than main subject. The syllabus of the subject cover almost all the syllabus of all the competitive exam like NET,GATE etc.It includes webinar and presentation which help in building overall personality.

Glimpse of university life

Likes

The staff of our department i.e. chemistry department plays an important role in our lives. They are very helpful and appreciable for each work. I am very thankful for all those teacher who makes me to work hard.
The campus of our department is very good. The environment and surrounding of the campus is very positive and valuable for al the students in the department. Each and every thing in the department is fully maintained
The faculty of the chemistry department is very appreciable and they are the expertise of their repective subjects. They have a very deep knowledge of their subjects . The faculty of the department are also very helpful in the research field.

Dislikes

The odour of some chemicals in the laboratory are not tolerable.
Sometimes the syllabus of the particular subject does not complete on time .
There is no holiday provided for the Saturday.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most top thing which influenced me is the semester system in the department. The faculty of the department prepares the student very well for the exam. The derivative part of the physical is quite improvable for me. The timing of the exam is three hours.

The overall experience in university and hostel is nice.

Likes

The departmental lab is good and full of equipments.
Faculty in department is supportive and experienced.
Department also provide other activities like sports meet,trip etc

Dislikes

Infrastructure of department is not so good.
The cleanliness is not good in classrooms ,washrooms and nearby park .
Library timing in the department is not proper.

I opted for M.Sc.Chemistry. I choose this couse in this department because it provide good lab work .There are some fields that needs improvement like library facility in department, timely covering of sallubus .

Kurukshetra University isn’t good in terms of academics. The results aren’t declared in time. The evaluation system isn’t good. The course curriculum isn’t up to date. Coursework usually includes subjects that aren’t related to the stream. The teaching approach followed by the university is theory-oriented. You won’t get much hands-on practical learning experience.
