University life is the best.

Likes

I liked the ambience of campus . There is so much greenery that you feel very relaxed and calm.
The teachers were fully supportive and they were always there to motivate uh and help you.
There are many facilities like library , sports ground , auditorium, and you get to attend many events in the university.

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite relevant and it prepares you for your incoming life challenges. And you also learn how to handle the stress in 1st semester The areas of improvement maybe the faculty should pay more attention to 1st year students And guide them effectively.the timing of exam was 9:30 -12:30. And apko enough time milta h preparation k liye in between exams. Difficulty level is high

Life at Kurukshetra University

Likes

Infrastructure is amazing. Nature is quite good.
The number of canteens and cafes is good
More than enough photocopy/print shops are there in the campus.

Dislikes

Hostels are not upto the mark. Old buildings of hostels.
Timings of some university gates is quit disappointed.
Lack of Proper ground for different sports in university .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course includes all the main subjects that are helpfull in placements and clearing the national level tests. Sometimes, students complain about that the exam was lengthy but still it's good.

First of all the campus of our department that i liked most that is too near and clean and the building that is green license certified.
The Teaching Staff that is also good and helpful. All the teachers are give their best to clear up all the doubts that the students asked them.
All over the P.hd scholars that are too good they also help us in performing experiments and gives ideas for the better future and a happy life.

Dislikes

sometimes i don’t like the parking area because it is divided into two parts that is students park their vehicles in their area of teachers park in their area.
Sometimes the fin activities organised in our department that are to limited and having many restrictions.
The park that is sometimes not maintained earlier.

Placement Experience:

After completing third semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Their are several companies visited in our campus that is Jindal steels, Mineslab service pvt.ltd and many more. Highest Package of the campus is approx 8 lakh. My plan after getting degree to join an NGO for making environment good.

Glimpse of kurukshetra University

Likes

Research faculty of chemistry department is really good.
Professor's have more practical knowledge which helps us to understand concepts better.
Campus is good and well maintained by the university.

Dislikes

There should be some arrangements of government vehicle for the students as campus is large.
Strict checking must be there at the main gates of the university.
Hostel rooms should be large as they are very small in size.

I choosed this this course as the faculty of the chemistry department is very good. For the research work it is just out standing, there are some professor's who got research awards too. I have gained a lot of confidence which would help me in life ahead.

Likes

The comprehensive curriculum designed by the university
The Green campus of 473 yd.² Is the main direction for students
The library facility available in the university

Dislikes

Cleanliness in the university is too much bad
The lab equipments work so badly that you can’t even perform a single experiment in a single day
The security related to girls is so much worse

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum as set up by the university is as per the proper guidelines, and covering the most of the syllabus that student is required to prepare for the entrance entrance exams however, the course must be improved since Some of the subjects covered in the exams are not so much relevant. The difficulty level of the exam is very simple.

Kuk chemistry department

Likes

Teachers are very cooperative with the students they are always ready for the help when students need them
Other than studies sports day and lohri celebrations makes very good enviroment for students
Green and clean campus also health facilities provided by them are really good health centre is just 5 min walk away from the chemistry department

Dislikes

Timmings and burden on students is clear so much from 9 am to 5 pm whole day students get busy in lab and classes
Result comes 4-5 months after the exam which is really a very long time period
Checking of exam sheet is really very strict they give you 20% less marks what you expected

See placements for msc chemistry students is very limited everywhere. Only some of the students accept placements offer because the ctc is not so much. Most of the students go for net jrf instead of doing private jobs. They prefer to go research and also some students apply for phd in europe or usa where they get really good stipend

Kurukshetra University's simple life

Likes

The noun teaching staff and the clerical staff of the university is very polite and humble
The infrastructure of the university is quite good buildings are well maintained and cleanliness is also maintain
Teachers help us in every possible way as they can do for student

Dislikes

The medical facilities in the University health centre are very poor
The university provide lessor exposure to the outside world there are lesser opportunities occurred by the University
Maths food is not good here some students get discomfort

Placement Experience:

The placement offer University is very poor since most of the student get only annual package of 2 lakh to 3 lakh per year also the companies offering the student job opportunities are very pooring infrastructure and does not provide wide opportunities to the students the highest package offer to one of the student of chemistry department in year 2020 was 7 year

Likes

The vibrant campus life with diverse clubs and events maintains a positive learning environment
Well maintained infrastructure with spaces library modern classroom
Well equipped labs with all modern instruments

Dislikes

Limited assess of technology and overcrowdedness
Poor internet connectivity very poor quality of the Wi-Fi
The security for the girl is very much bad in the university in security personal don't do anything to the rash driver

Are chemistry department has a nice placement cell headed by Dr Sangeeta Saini mam the department provide placement for most of the students. the annual average package offered by the department with student is around 3 to 4 lakhs per year many companies visit the campus at the end of the tenure

Beauty of kuk

All Festival's are celebrated in this University .
This is a matter of those students who live in hostel and cannot go home during the festival.
I am also part it . The environment of our university is very safe and peace fully .

Dislikes

Nothing. Everything is good nothing is bad.

I will take admition in this University because i am impressed by the teachers of that University. They are very hardworking teacher.here the timing of exams is three hours and all teacher perform there work atmost honesty.

Kurukshetra University is a dream place

Likes

The University has a very green campus of 473 square yards
The teachers in the universities are well qualified from well educated institutes
The hostel facility available for the girls students is one of the best

Dislikes

The security wise girls insecurement is ttoomuch
The cleanliness in most of the department is worse
The best food is of very poor quality that it does not meet the nutritional requirements of our body

My masters in chemistry quotes consist of 4th semester each semester containing different type of object giving different comprehensive knowledge to the students that provides student with a lot of opportunities to get into higher studies and other things if I talk about the academic results then students usually score about 80 to 90% in their semester exams

Kurukshetra University isn’t good in terms of academics. The results aren’t declared in time. The evaluation system isn’t good. The course curriculum isn’t up to date. Coursework usually includes subjects that aren’t related to the stream. The teaching approach followed by the university is theory-oriented. You won’t get much hands-on practical learning experience.
