Life At Kurukshetra University.

The course curriculum is based on latest guidelines given by UGC .It emphasis on academic and overall Development. It include Elective subject others than main subject. The syllabus of the subject cover almost all the syllabus of all the competitive exam like NET,GATE etc.It includes webinar and presentation which help in building overall personality.

The fees is paid annually as the duration for the course is 2 years.It is paid twice during the course .For the first year the fee for the course is Rs. 13,683 and for second year ,the fee is 11,334. This fees mentioned is for General Category Students. The mentioned amount includes the admission fee ,Tution fee, Caution fees , lab fees etc. The registration fee may vary yearly .As per my knowledge the fee remains same .The University, however do not provide any scholarship but their is fee concession for OBC ,SC ST and other reserved categories. Their are some government scholarship like NSP etc which are provided.

The annual festival is Ratnawali that is organized by the university on the occasion of Haryana Day .It describe the culture of the state including different competition at state level. The library of the university and the department are well equipped with latest books that includes entire syllabus. Their are seprate computer labs n science labs n others labs in each department which are well equipped with all the instruments. Sports meet are also organized on departmental levels n on district levels.Their are dance group, theatre group etc which help in overall Development.

I applied for Delhi University but i couldn't make as i didnt fulfil the requirements for the course as the applying candidate should have maths in bachelor's. The admission in my college are based on enterance test. The applying candidates must register on the website of the university , then appear for the written test and then the admission are made on the basis of marks scored in the enterance test.For registration in Msc chem the applying candidates must score 40% in their bachelor's degree (Sciences)and should have science as their main subject in 12th .

The faculty members of my department are good and well qualified. Their are about 30 teachers in our department. The faculty to student ratio is 1:10 .All the faculty members are good but my personal favourite are Dr.Ramesh Kumar and Dr.Suresh kumar.Their are 4 semester during the course.Each semester comprise of 6 months n after completion of the semester exams are held.Thus exams held 4 times a year. The exams are not as difficult if you have studied well.The exams are from syllabus only .20 to 30 percent students however fails in exams .

The nightlife for the girls is not much enthusiastic as the hostel gates for the girls get closed at 7 pm only .We spend more of the time in departments or in rooms however there is gym facilities in every hostel despite of that there are coomon rooms where indoor sports n Telivision facilities are provided.One can seat in common room n enjoy .There are canteens near each department. Despite of that there is University market in which there are many cafeterias and local shops which serves the variety of food .Tea time offers one of the best tea in University campus.Their are many historical places to hangout near the University campus .Brhmsarovar is the nearest n the prefferd place to hangout for the students of University. Despite of that there are many temples of ancient times , Jyotisar, Badhrkali temple etc .and many cafes with beautiful interior n good food.
