Likes
- The staff of our department i.e. chemistry department plays an important role in our lives. They are very helpful and appreciable for each work. I am very thankful for all those teacher who makes me to work hard.
- The campus of our department is very good. The environment and surrounding of the campus is very positive and valuable for al the students in the department. Each and every thing in the department is fully maintained
- The faculty of the chemistry department is very appreciable and they are the expertise of their repective subjects. They have a very deep knowledge of their subjects . The faculty of the department are also very helpful in the research field.
Dislikes
- The odour of some chemicals in the laboratory are not tolerable.
- Sometimes the syllabus of the particular subject does not complete on time .
- There is no holiday provided for the Saturday.
Course Curriculum Overview
The most top thing which influenced me is the semester system in the department. The faculty of the department prepares the student very well for the exam. The derivative part of the physical is quite improvable for me. The timing of the exam is three hours.
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay the fees of the department yearly. The total fee for a one -year M.Sc. in Chemistry program is Rs.13683. It is a two year program. Fees of the other batchmates in the department are same except for the SC or ST students. There are different types of scholarship which are available for the students of the chemistry department.
Campus Life
The annual festival which is celebrated in our department is lohri , holi and diwali in the January , march and November month respectively. There are several types of books which are available in our department library and also on central library. Sports meet is conducted in the respective departments which involves different games . There is also NCC and NSS organisation in the university.
Admission
I also applied in the Guru Jambeshwar University, Hisar, but there i do not take admission because i got the admission in the kurukshetra University, kurukshetra as this University is on priority for me. The fees fot this course in this University is than the GJU . No , i do not got any rejection from other college or university. The admission is selected on the basis of written exam and afterthat the cutoff procedure is taken into the account. The process of fees deduction for the course is online.
Faculty
There is a large difference between the faculty to student ratio. The student - teacher relationship is very very good. The faculty of the department which i liked the most is Dr. Parveen kumar Jangra sir. He is very knowledgeable person. There is a semester system in the department, so overall four semesters are held in the department.
Night Life
The late night activities are not allowed for girl student as there is a time boundation for hostel. The last entry time for winter in the hostel is 6:30 pm except for Saturday and sunday . Our hostel includes gym, reading room, common room and also dispensery. The famous place which i go outside is brahamsarovar, sheikh chilli makbara , jyotisar , kessel mall and inside is darohar and auditorium.
