The course has approachable faculty, though most are not very open to discussions beyond answering questions. Few faculty members are noted for being friendly, and the department head is seen as unaccommodating. The exam structure consists of two unit tests worth 20 marks each, and two internal tests of 40 marks each, along with a 60-mark external exam. In shorter semesters, there are only two internal exams of 40 marks each.

The pass rate is between 70 to 80%, with the remaining students receiving ATKT. Recently, the college established partnerships with various industries and companies to provide summer internship opportunities, facilitated by the department head and the Progress Alliance Foundation. The monthly fee for the course is Rs 27,500, which includes a tuition fee of Rs 26,000 and an enrollment fee of Rs 10,000, along with an additional Rs 1,500 for university exam forms. Admissions are open to all students, as they are not merit-based.
