In order to be eligible for DU MSc admission at affiliated colleges of Delhi University, candidates must hold a B.Sc degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised university or institute. DU MSc Admissions Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Sc program at Delhi University are required to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG), conducted by NTA. Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination will be required to register on Delhi University’s admission portal. Provisional seat allotment will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS PG) portal by Delhi University where candidates will be required to fill in college and department preferences. For the final selection, a merit list will be released by Delhi University based on CUET PG scores, college and department preferences, availability of seats, reservation criteria, academic qualifications, and other factors.

Ques. Is there any entrance exam for M.Sc in DU?

Ans. Yes, admission to the M.Sc programme in DU is purely based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score. However, in case of some M.Sc specialisations 50% of the seats are filled through entrance exams and the rest 50% are filled through merit. Students who wish to apply for DU M.Sc must appear for CUET exams and have a valid score in it. The ones who qualify will then have to register in Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for seat allotment.

Ans. For students to get admission to M.Sc Maths in DU, they must meet certain eligibility criteria. Students with a bachelor's degree in mathematics having a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for general category (45% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA are eligible for M.Sc maths in DU. Those who qualify for the course will have to register for DU CSAS, based on which the final college and course allotment is done.

Ans. The fee for M.Sc in Delhi University varies depending on the discipline you choose. However, the average fee for M.Sc in DU is INR 15,000. The lowest fee is of M.Sc Mathematics which is INR 8906 and the highest is of M.Sc Physics i.e. INR 15,829. This fee will however differ based on the DU college you opt for. Miranda House College and Hindu College of Delhi University are said to be the best ones for pursuing M.Sc.

My Honest Review of Deshbandhu College

The college infrastructure is good. The greenary is worth praise .
There are many societies which level up our college life experience. The seniors are very cooperative.

The crowd of Haryana students is very bad. They create nuisance in the college and fight.
P block of the college is very bad with excessive heat during summer and has no working air conditioners.

I didn't chose this course. I just got it in the spot round as this was the only relevant course left. It is good for students who are preparing or planning to go into civil services as it gives time for preparation. It doesn't prepare us for real world applications or industry. This course should be removed from every college. The teaching method is no doubt good but it doesn't make us industry ready. Timings of end semester exam is not good as we have to go to take our exam in chilling cold wave.

Some things were good such as large sports ground, washrooms were renovated.
The faculty was helpful, they assisted us everytime we had doubts

The lab faculty was a bit rude. They were strict, even if it was their mistake.
The WiFi barely worked in the college. Laptops were not allowed in computer labs even if the computer is not working.

I didn't want to study chemistry but I also was not able to study computer sciences because of low grades so I choosed this course. The curriculum was great, but the teaching should be more practical than theoretical. Projector study with pointing with laser was adopted by one of our teachers which was much better than teaching on blackboard. Sometimes, the exam frequency was long, sometimes, there were no gaps.

College has a very good and calm environment.
There is so much interaction with students of every branch of other courses.

The infrastructure of this college is not good rather it has an new one.
There is no fest or events in this college.

I have opt this course because I like physics and also interested in electronics. This course helps us to know about the functioning of how electrical appliance work . It's should be practically more easy to get it.it give maxm time to prepare for ur exam .

College Review

The college was affordable. The infrastructure was decent if not the best. The faculty was also pretty much good.
They had events and fests. The campus life was also good with enough amenities.

The library could be better functioning.
Student parking was not available despite space.

The course had practical and theoretical knowledge of core concepts for every subject. The teachers were experts in their respective fields. The practical experience also enhanced the learning process.

Enjoy your college life

College infrastructure and location is well connected as well as faculty.
Anti raging policy and i like college environment, societies and college fest.

College politics is not good during my time, attendance.
College is not part of any campus in Delhi University like north and south campus also not part of DUSU.

Because i am computer science enthusiastic and interested so i join bsc hons computer science course, curriculum is well prepares for the begginer level, provide basic fundamental of computer science but not well for real world expectations. Need to improve course curriculum and teaching method according to real world such as generative ai, machine learing etc with real life industry projects.

All about the Gargi college ( Delhi University)

The college environment with greenery . The environment is very soothing and peace giving everytime we visit the ground or gardens
The faculty and seniors are friendly enough and polite

The infrastructure is a bit small and the building seems a bit old from some areas
The canteen area sometimes is a bit unorganised and very prone to bustle and bustle

The curriculum is very good and engaging always .. the way the teacher/ faculty step by step go forward with the whole course is appreciable. Some areas that can be improved is that some teachers deny providing the pdf for the material taught . But I guess it is for the good of the student's and so it is ohkay . The exam timing is 6 months and sometimes frequent class test and viva are taken which are helpful enough .

Maitrayi College- take or not???

Since, it's an only girls college, the environment is very safe and free.
Faculty is great and really wish to see the students excelling.

Infrastructure is quite old and needs improvisation.
Placement cell need to be more active and internship opportunities should be provided.

The course curriculum is designed in a way to nurture the minds of future zoologists. The areas where it can be improved is in terms of teaching more real life skills rather than just rote learning. Exams, as in every college, held twice a year, one person semester.

Observing my college

Teachers, i like the teachers as they are very calm and understanding with the student they are ready to do help everytime

Infrastructure, a very big bad part of the college as there is no drinking water system nothing even the benches are broken

It was my personal choice and decisioun to choose this course as im a biology student so thats why i prefer this course i think they should improve in teaching methods like study by smart boards i think it might save time for them also and for us also

Yes, Delhi University has B.Sc. Forensic Science. But the course is offered in honors mode. The fee structure is not available in online mode. The average hostel fee is INR Fifty three thousand per year.

B.Sc Biological Science is a three-years undergraduate program that deals with subjects such as ecology, botany, environment, genetics, and biodiversity.
