It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

Dislikes

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

My view of jamia.

Likes

Campus and surroundings are very active and very beautful
The exposure is very good in the campus.
There are so much initiatives to increase productivity of student and to enhance professional soft skills.

Dislikes

The faculty is not supporting and they are not helpful.
Also language is a barrier for me they only use their native language
In outside the campus there is so much rush

Course Curriculum Overview:

As per the nep policy 2020 the new curriculum i feel it is not efficient and also they don't know how to impart the lessons with the students.They don't teach effectively.The new curriculum want to be improved.

A different perspective about JMI

Likes

There is many chances to participate in various societies or groups. Also have different extra curriculam activities like NCC , etc
There is a huge reading space for students. Also it opens in all days. It open at early morning and only close at late night. So it's very useful.
There is a good library which includes a plenty of books. Also University give wifi facility and microsoft access

Dislikes

Some department officials are very strict. So it may makes problems for newly admitted students.
Some time the classes are not taken and it only announce before minutes of that hour. It make problems for some students.
Some department's infrastructure is not modern and also maintenance is do not going properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA program in Jamia Milia Islamiya helps the students to get a detailed view on different disciplines. Also there has many students are in my course are preparing for upsc civil service, so this course is very helpful for them. After completing the course the student get many career opportunities. Also this course not make a big academic load.

Review of JMI

Likes

The officec's staff is very kind and helpful at every step
The faculties are superb also the head of department
The department's cool neat and calm environment

Dislikes

Dept is on 1st floor not on ground floor
The students some times behave like a child
Lab equipment are limited! Bcz of that students face difficulties to submit the paper

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course psychology i choosed bcz it has a deep connection of an individual's daily life! For the imorovment it needed is like it should more Scientisfic in nature! Psychology teaches you to solve a problem with the positive outcomes and decision making, forming impression on other and like very things that helps an individual in a better survival!

Secrets of Jamia

Likes

The teaching methods is good in our university.
We have been provided projector also in our university.
The infrastructure of campus and buildings is good.

Dislikes

The ratio of boys and girls are not equal.
There is no placement for the students who have completed the degree
Some teachers don't teach well. And don't have good connection with students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am learning French language so it's a bit different from other courses. But the teachers are good and they teach well. I chose this course because I find that there are more job opportunity in this course than other courses.

Jamia Millia Islmia - an overview

Likes

The library. Which was a huge library where we can read and study peacefully.
The beauty of campus. The campus was well maintained.
The teachers. They were very talented and experienced teachers.

I was at my starting stage of civil service priliminary preparation. So I thought this course will help my future. The syllabus and carriculum of the course was very helpful to civil service preparations.

We can socialize with more people by puting ourself or indulge in extracurricular activities
Infrastructure is not so bad not so good it's and govt or you say it's an CENTRAL university so ya kind of good
One of the best thing is that there is zero tolerance of ragging .

Dislikes

Food options like I am not sure about hygiene but ya healthy food is very limited
Time management- struggling to balance academic,social life,personal responsibilities
Some kind of weirdo teacher are also present but not in my faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you any interest to give any govt competitive exams like SSCCGL or UPSC CSE etc so this course I for you only . You will get lot of help from this course .it's not much difficult to balance the frequency or academics This course can be improved by adding some courses like SKILL ENHANCEMENT etc

environment is quite good....all the people there are friendly and cooperative
professors are great....they r ready to help any student with open heart....they are quite experienced in their respective fields
campus is so beautiful and clean....we can find many places in the campus where we can just sit and take a sigh of relief

Dislikes

hostel food is not very good....it is sometimes very oily sometimes insects are there in the food....
some of the students there do smoking...that smoking culture troubles me the most
hostel fee is increasing per year....its really not affordable for many of the students studying there...

my course is history hons.....talking about the syllabus....it is well maintained..it is divided into three periods....ancient for the first year,medieval for the 2nd year and modern for the 3rd year....the topics choosen are very interesting..besides this syllabus is also helpful for most of the competitive exams....

JAMIA MY DREAM

Likes

The best thing in our college is exposure of brilliant students and college faculty.
Highly qualified professors who shows the right path ad also share their brilliant experience
The infrastructure of college is very nice , college is spread over almost 200acres and transport facilities are also great

Dislikes

The placement cell of my college is very inefficient.
It is not able to bringmany companies for requirement
No more than 5 to 6 students per batch gets the placement

This course helps me alot to seek more and more knowledge and its background influenced me to choose this course. But their are some improvements which are necessary in this course that are teachers should interact more and more with students because its the course of interaction. The exams and timings of this course are perfect and challenging.

Jamia the best university in delhi

The thing which I liked the most is the atmosphere of jamia . You will find the most diversity ever in this University of students. Students coming from different culture is a great thing to admire.
Second thing which I liked is jamias library it open form 9 am to 12 pm . It is air conditioned so it provides great atmosphere for study and research
Third thing which I liked is jamias professor they are very friendly and helpful they help us in every aspect they aspire students to make assignments

Dislikes

Things which I don't like about jamia is its canteen the food which is provided here is not so hygiene
Second thing which I don't like about jamia is the pattern of exam datesheet they took 1 month or more for 5 exams
Third thing which I don't like is that the oxygen of Delhi . In winters the air is not so much oure

The course of political science is very great if a person wants to go in the field of civil services then the course of political science is the best one for a student because it provides us a basic framework for preparations of the upcoming upsc journey
