Scholarship: this college have really great facility of scholarships for needy people.
Faculty to student ratio is great and small strength class provide a great personalized experience and teaching to students .
The college fest is a perfect great opportunity to learn and grow.

Dislikes

I think that they lag in their way of teaching.
Hostel condition especially for the first year hostel which is provided that is shivalik hostel is worst
Staff is not so good. they take extra classes and non of the things they explain are clear

Remarks:

College being in the Chandigarh city provides immense number of opportunities to the students to grasp more and more but the bitter part of the college is accommodations and food. The hostels are not too good to live.

Overall my experience in the college till time is good. College has done a lot in improving us as a person as well as an engineer. Most of the people here are supportive here. Funds are provided to cultural clubs mostly, technical societies gets extremely low funds. Also if any student goes for technical competitions out side of college, college hardly gives funds to students.

All about my college

Remarks:

The best thing i found in this college is that it has a friendly environment. Ragging here is strictly prohibited and everyone in the college adhere to it. Coming to some negatives is that the infrastructure of the college is not well developed. As it has been in chandigarh since 1953 only a few buildings are well developed rest all the buildings are as old as the college.

The whole idea being a centrally government college the more the governments gives grants for academic development the more the students & faculty can nurture themselves. I have seen that at lot of international events project team were skeptical to apply because of fund issue

Overall the college is one of its kind. It is know a deemed to be university. It have been increasing its highest package every yr and this yr it was 39 lakhs per annum in the cse branch and the average package is 10.5 lakhs per annum

Remarks:

I want to say that the infractructure of this college is very old and needs renovation and some labs should be newly built and each classroom should have ac installed and there should be holidays in end term examinations.
