- There are many scholarships available for the students which can help the students in many ways it help the needy people who cannot afford fees or have better excellence .
- They professor and teachers were friendly and had great knowledge of in their subjects
- The application form, fees and admission dates was pretty available on the website and everything was also provided on the college brochure!
Dislikes
- The condition of the rooms is very bad and it is requires renovation .overall i pay 6000 a month for my hostel room .. mess is 950 which is included in 6000
- Political group are quite active. students are also not getting hostels easily therefore its quite difficult for student from from faraway to survive. attendance policy is also very strict.
- It only provides a fan , a bed , and a almirah which in most cases is faulty .

- This college as a very affordable fee structure. Faculity members are very supportive of the students.
- Our college several clubs that provides students with exposure outside of the college and have them grow their talents.

Dislikes
- Placements in civil branch is not up to the mark.
- The administration is very slow and not supportive of the students especially the hostel have a lot of problems.
- Area inside the campus is not utilise properly and there is a lot of empty space which is not being used properly.
Placement Experience:
Placements of this college are pretty decent.
Almost 80% of students in CS and ECE branch are placed every year.
40% of students are mechanical branch get placed.
Placement in civil is almost non existent.

- Academic fees is very less as compared to other govt institutes in Chandigarh or in other big cities.
- If you have got CSE in this college through your jee mains rank then you have big opportunities to crack and also there are a lot of internships provided by the college.
- There are several clubs in the college for music, dance, acting, robotics, photography and editing etc. So you can get a lot of exposure and you can follow your passion side by side.
Dislikes
- As a hosteller, I can say that the condition is not too good. You'll enjoy hostel life a lot but the hygiene is not very well maintained
- There are some teachers in the college that are selfish. You'll not get marks from them easily.
- The ground is not well maintained. So you'll face some problems in playing sports or any other games.
Placement Experience:
I will only talk about computer science engineering and electronics engineering branch placements because other branches get some placements but not very good as compared to these two branches if you are a CSE student in this college then the average package for CSC is 8 to 10 lakhs and if you have some other skills the placement will be very good recently. Recently the highest package of a colleges 32 lakhs this was in campus placement the of compass placement is around 1.2 crore internationally if you are an electronic student here then there is packages 7 to 8 lacs it totally depends on your skills and your extra curricular activities that will help you to get a good placement from this college also there are many internships summer paid summer unpaid internship that are provided by the college in which you can apply and boshe your skills.

- First thing i liked was the college surroundings .
- the campus infrastructure , cleanliness , environment.
- college fees , which is very less and very good return on investment .
Dislikes
- campus size is a little bit small , and that can be a reason.
- those dream packages of more than 20lpa are not there .
- there are not much things to be disliked here.
Placement Experience:
students are elegible to sit in the placemnts from 7th semester.
placements are pretty decent here.
almost 80 to 90 percent students get place every year .
th highest package is 18 lpa and 12 lpa
the average package 6.5 lpa.

- Fee structure is quite affordable according to a central government college
- Teachers work hard to make you study and understand
- The college is central location of Chandigarh which is easily accessible and easy to travel
Dislikes
- Just like any other government office,the working here is slow and inefficient
- Mostly students are local residents, so the facilities for outsiders or hostellers are poor
- Poor management and facilities for Students and hostellers. Even fests are not regular and teachers are rude
Placement Experience:
Students get eligible for placements from 7th semester and almost 35-38 companies visit here. And more than 150 offers are made.
Highest package offered is around 15 LPA and lowest around 3-3.5 LPA.
Almost 80% of eligible students get placed.

- The thing i like about the hoshiarpur campus is that it has all the facilities from having sports and grounds to medical facilities , the campus is surrounded by lush green environment and we can see himachal mountains too the weather here is great.
- The faculty here is very encouraging and also strict at the same time they will encourage you to perform in your specific domain and do great , the seniors and the alumni base here is also very skilled and learned the also help and guide you .
- The curriculum is is planned in such a way that it helps in cracking placements in the desired branches specially in the core field , students from other branches are also allowed to take part in IT placements and even get placed in IT jobs.
Dislikes
- The things which is mostly disliked in the college is that the environment is not suitable for out side states , the locals here try to loot the people from other state by increasing Rent prices or goods prices.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements here are pretty decent , not that much good but if study hard specifically for placements then easily can get around 6lpa paclage , also there is plenty of time for other comptetevie exams such as gate , cat or upsc people spend ample amount of time in studyng these subjects and get selectd too , also higher study in foreing university and colleges can be focused if cgpa can be foced based on acadmics , the opportunity here is never ending.
