Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I was interested in learning mathematics and getting a good placement but they don't have any option on placement and research There was semester system final finals after 6 months in between mid semester was taken finals need a good amount of hardwork

Students get eligible for placements from 7th semester and almost 35-38 companies visit here. And more than 150 offers are made. Highest package offered is around 15 LPA and lowest around 3-3.5 LPA. Almost 80% of eligible students get placed.

Students can attend placement seminars in their last year of graduation. There are mostly placement offers for the role of sales and marketing or chat-call executives. IT companies do visit also but very rarely and they only hire only 5 to 10 candidates. There are sometimes unpaid internship opportunities available too.

Campus placement are offered to the students of bba, bcom , and it students many companies visit college and provide job opportunities to the students. Different companies have different needs so accordingly they choose

Placements are really nice. Companies visit in the 7th semester majorly, some might come in 8th sem also. But only intern companies come in 6th sem. Some companies - American Express, Oshneering, Priority, KPMG,ProcDNA,ZS Associates,Mahindra and Mahindra,BEL, Finxera ,etc I am gonna go for placements only

I chosen this course because i want to learn about new things from this field. The course give us a lots of new experinces about anything. Also i gain so much knowlegde from the different leatures of that subject.

From semester 5 students are eligible for campus placements . Also some companies have visited university for campus placement and have selected a number of students The highest placement of a student has gone to 1000000

In the last semester that is 6th semester the placement drive is started. Every year 3-4 companies come to the college and 50% of the students are placed from the students who appeared in the drive. Decathlon came who gave the highest offer for 35000 per month. Profile they offer is analyst, client relation, assistant etc . I will now pursue my Post graduation

The campus placements here are pretty decent , not that much good but if study hard specifically for placements then easily can get around 6lpa paclage , also there is plenty of time for other comptetevie exams such as gate , cat or upsc people spend ample amount of time in studyng these subjects and get selectd too , also higher study in foreing university and colleges can be focused if cgpa can be foced based on acadmics , the opportunity here is never ending.

The course is the same one as for the 5 year course in Panjab University as this is an affiliated college. You can also get migrated to Panjab University from this college. There is a test every year for odd semester depending on the number of vacant seats.
