Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Right now I haven't attended placements yet . Students of final year are eligible for placements .I have no idea about the companies and offers but as heard from seniors there are offers from banks and other mid - size firms. I am planning to complete my CA course after graduating as I pursued both of them paralelly would like to sit for govt. / Bank Exams as well .

Mba students 60% of the students from our college got placed. The highest salary offered was rs 80000 per month and the lowest salary 50000 per month top recruiters for our courses AY global, Digital beez etc.

From the fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. If a company came there it takes at least 5 to 6 students but with a minimum package of 3 to 4lacs per year. Only 15 to 20% of the students get placements after the campus requirement. Most students have planned after the completion of their degree either to opt for government services or for the master's degree after clearing CAT and they may opt for the teaching line after Ph.D.

My course curriculum was good. The faculty members were good, they were teaching well, and they were helpful. I like this course that is why I opt this course. There are mostly 10 faculty members in the commerce department. And students around 580. It takes exams frequently and exams are easy. Yeah, their teaching methods are good.

Since I mentioned that I am a person who is doing BCom along with CA it's a great combination since I need not put any additional effort into starting it becomes a subject that is the main reason of choosing the subject. Since I am the first in my graduation from your soul so I will not be able to give the details when it comes to faculty-student ratios since we need not go to college for the start we are just there to give examinations and in the US soon there is semester system so in which year you have to give them your examination twice and it will depend upon the hard work of the student whether he studies or not since clearing b.com it's not that much heart if the student is studying well

Firstly, we just have one term exam before our final semester exam which is called Mid Semester Test ( MST). Personally, it is not that difficult to pass the exam, because if you study well, then you won't find any hurdle to clear the exam and vice versa if you do not study well and are not prepared for your exams then obviously you may fail it.

There teaching staff teaching method is very advanced and easy and very qualified teachers here. Every six months after their exam is conducted. It is not very hard for students just only need to students hardworking.

I choose BCom course as I am a commerce background student and also pursuing a CA course. The faculty is very very awesome. if someone wants the best teacher for his/her, then definitely come to this college All faculty members are highly educated:-phd, master in there subject

I completed my 12th in commerce that the main reason I opted for Bcom. The faculty-student ratio was about 7:40. Faculty was multiple degree holders and their teaching method is also good. Exams are conducted once in 2 months and they are of a difficult level.

I selected B.com (Bachelor of Commerce) course as it's my dream to work in a public bank sector. The faculty is so nice but the disadvantage is that the teachers are so rapidly changed. In two years, my two fav teachers are changed. So this is the main disadvantage. Student strength is 70 in first year and 65 in second year. Qualifications of the teachers are MBA, Doctorate and other professional degrees. There is no special teaching method. All teachers are forced to complete syllabus before time and approach for the MSTs for the student's revision. Yeah, it's right that there is no stress in college about studies. But yes it's a bitter truth that we have to do study ourselves as no one keep focus in our performance like teachers in schools till 10th. Yes who are belongs to the middle class family can approach to GNGC college. Term exams of odd semesters are held in December /January and the even semester exams in May/June. It's quite easy to clear if you study smartly .
