Everyone is friendly .all professors are helpful.very impactful teaching and very good experience and overall development.good coding environment and healthy competition among students.overall very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
Pleacement of the college is going very nice many good company like google yahoo microsoft twitter comming for take placement and avg package of the electrical engineering students is 1200000,and cse students avg package is 1500000
Fee can vary between 4500 per semester to 60000 per semester .scholarship like minority-1,gen-1, sc-1, ... are provided to help students to complete there 4 year course without feeling financial burden

Dislikes

The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year .
Due to very low area ,we are somewhat feel problematic when have to organise any event at bigger level.
There will be no scholarship provided by any government site .about the placement is not good enough, especially for our branch the placement is too low and who have they got it a very low salary .

Infrastructure is also good. And placement is moderated level.
Study curriculum is also good .and professor behaviour is very good.

Dislikes

Campus size is very small comparison of other nit .
Hostel mess is moderated level. But still good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Many subjects this is depend upon your branch and your semester. And curriculum is very good . And extra curriculum example games, nss ,and competition are also very good and professional teaches here.

NIT PATNA COLLEGE LIFE.

Likes

Extra Curriculum activities like games, NSS, etc.
Annual fests, cultural fest, technical fests.
Hackathons and presentations on regular basis.

Dislikes

Campus size is too small that's why we even can't walk too long.
Surrounding environment like local peoples around hostels.
Some professor's are too strict about academics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course offered by college to us is quite good and brief but so much burden on students and also not so much light. Curriculum is proper arranged in three semester wise formate. Having extra activities also like-NSS,EAA, etc.

NIT Patna

Likes

Location of nit campus just near Ganga rever.
Travel convinced as it is near the Patna railway station about to 7 to 8 km.
Some faculty is very experienced and give practical knowledge about subjects.

Dislikes

Campus is so small and old so playing ground is limited space.
Course subject need to be changes as some subject is unnecessary.
Lab instrument should be maintained properly as some of instrument not work properly.

Placement Experience:

3rd semester student in case of pget and 7th semester student in case of get are eligible to college placement. Some 3rd year student also got internship. Company like mahindra and mahindra, alstrom, ZF group, Cummins India, Jindal stainless steel, TCE, L&T, L&T edu etc in mechanical. Highest package is around 13 lakhs and average package around 7 lakh in pget mechanical courses. 40% in case of pget mechanical. PhD after completing master degree.

Collage Through Eyes of a Fresher

Likes

The nature and weather is great here. I find it very peaceful to walk alone.
Friends that I've found here are one of the best people I've met.
Hostel life is something new for me but I'm enjoying everything it offers.

Dislikes

Campus area is small sometimes I want to wander but there's not much space.
Feasts are not that good. They try but it's not thst fun.
Some teachers are very boring but qualified so we can't even complain about them.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is fine. Good companies make offers to student my competition is high so you'll have to have great skills to be considered. Around 70-80 % are placed I think. Although Placement varies from branch to branch with CSE topping.

NITP from a closer look

Likes

I liked the campus life, although the campus is a bit small it allows us to get familiar with people well and develop binds of friendship.
I liked the workshops and opportutnits provided by the college and the department for the students to learn and develop skills.
Lastly, the clubs are quite active and there are lot of fun events from the drama club, the art and literary club, etc

Dislikes

I dislike the arrangements in the hostel, there is not enough facilities and space to accomodate the number fo students.
The is little to no official placements for B.Arch provided by the college.
The is still a lot of room for improvement in the department as compared to the other colleges

Placement Experience:

In the course of Architecture, there is little to no placements, but there are internships you can do after you learn the skills required. There are a lot of opportunities for internships in this course and provides enough opportunities and workshops for you to develop your skills while the degree is ongoing.

Good college life ..

Likes

Very nice campus environment so that i like it
Small campus size so that it is easy to walk
Good facilities in the sports section in nitp

Dislikes

Old campus so it should be reconstructed .
Poor food condition in our mess in nitp .
Old hostels , since some of the hostels are too old it should be replaced

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course circulum is nice . It is just like other colleges so according to my view the corse circulum is almost fine . And the faculty are also good . Maximum of the faculties are good but some of the faculty are very rude . Each faculty are very good in their profession .So ,according to my view the improvemnt should be their in teaching style.And the exam facility is very good.

Muskuraiye aap NIT Patna me hai

Likes

Small campus and Market is near the campus and city life
You can get free time if you are not in CS
Some good events and fests regardless no outside celibrity

Dislikes

Attendance policy is 75% and some prof are very strict about it
Labs and schedule are very hectic and they doesn't care about the students
Not that good Labs equipement quality and

Placement Experience:

after 6th semster students are eligible for placements. From last year not such big componies are coming and most of the students gets the placement between 5-12LPA and only few gets better. Hightest pakage was 52LPA last year and some got good offcampus placements. I will also try to get good offcampus if possible

Great campus life is provided in the college
CLUBS are an absolute best thing of college
The student - teacher relation is also good

Dislikes

The campus size is too small for exploration
Mess food is not good, food is repeated everytime.

Placement Experience:

I don't have much information about the placements, but I know that the average placement for cse is around 1400000 while the highest placement is 5100000 which is an on campus placement. Highest off campus placement Is of 1.2 cr

The real experience

Likes

The environment of the college is great not as i expected.
The faculty of our department are excellent.
The seniors are very friendly and loving.

Dislikes

The campus is too small . It's just opposite of my imagination.
because of some seniors we have to face some trouble.
the timing of the night entry is 9;00 which is not sufficient.

Placement Experience:

After 8 semester we are eligible for the placement in our college. If someone not get placed then are many options other than that. There are internships where they can take help from their senior. After your degree is completed then you can built your own business.

A complete college review for NIT Patna

Likes

Campus Life of the college is much better than expected
Clubs and events adds to the total glory of the college.
Teachers are so cool and calm in the college.

Dislikes

Mess food is not good enough, same dishes are repeated.
Campus area is too small (only 40acres).
Water facility is not good, we have to but water from outside.

Placement Experience:
