How to survive in nit patna

Study of architecture is not like traditional studies it is something different from other. I'm interested in designing and i also want to study in field of design so.. architecture is all about fun but sometimes it give me alot of stress too.

Architecture student have not much placement opportunities. And very few campus placement is available not much companies are available in our department but not same with other departments, mostly student are applied for higher studies.

College fees is not much higher it is average. if you are a general quota candidate or your parents annual income is more then five lakhs then you have to pay one point five lakhs something per semester. During counseling you have to pay to josaa and csab and that body transfer your all amount to your allotted college only remaining fee you have to pay before physical reporting.

Overall experience is nice if you are a introvert kind of person then may be sometime it tough for you to make friends but otherwise it really great experience. Architecture department is more involved in all annual fest specially in decoration, all students can participate there is no barrier. You and get all the study material online with the help of senior or in library so no need to expand your money on books. Number of club are also there you can get information about these clubs through social media or poster in college you can join any club according to your interest. Mostly classrooms are smart class room , studio is also big enough to work.

The condition of hostel is not much good, most of the rooms are three seater but if you have bad luck then you also get six seater rooms. The facilities is nothing you have a bed , a fan in single room that's all. The quality of meal is quite good as compared to private hostel, veg and non veg both are available separately, water cooler or water filter is also there but i don't think it is working. For the hostel allotment you have to fill a form at college and submit in office.

The eligibility of this course (bachelor of architecture) is 10+2 at least 75 percent in five subjects ( physics, chemistry and mathematics are mandatory) then you have to appear in joint entrance exam ( jee) paper 2. Jee paper 2 is online or offline mode where you have to draw something on sheet or mathematics, architecture general questions, and other questions online. Mathematics question is not like jee paper 1 it quite simple and easy. For national institute of technology patna (nitp) you need at least 97 percentile approx. Then you have to go through joint seat allocation authority (josaa) or central seat allocation board (csab), is counciling process after alloting seat in institute you have to wait for your physical reporting
