Which is a better option for an M.Tech in civil engineering, IIT Patna or IIT Bhubaneswar?

IIT Patna takes admission for M.Tech in Civil Engineering through the GATE exam. Candidates should have aggregate marks of 60% and above in their Bachelors’s. The GATE cut-off was about 450 for Civil Engineering in 2019. The total number of seats available in the institute are only 18-19. The placement drive gives good opportunities to the students and the highest package in 2019 was INR.38 Lakh/year offered by Microsoft , followed by INR.35 lakh/year by DE Shaw, also reputed companies like Samsung, Uber, LinkedIn, Force Motors, L&T, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Amazon are the top recruiters. The course fee is about INR 2.31 Lakh approx per annum. In 2019 the highest placement offer was around INR 39 Lakh per year and the average job package offered was INR 11.44 Lakh. PSUs like ISRO, IOCL, NCCBM recruited students from IIT Bhubaneswar. There was about 68% of total placement for M.Tech 2019 batch. Both the IIT’s are top reputed institutions known for academics and good placements.
