Student Snaps:

Placement Experience:

Placements at our college are quite good compared to others from 7th-semester students who are eligible to sit in placements. The companies were Amazon, Goldman Sachs, BHEL, Atlassian, Accenture Tata, Adobe, Samsung, HLC, Mastercard, and Optum. and 514 offers were made. The highest package was 44 lakhs from amazon. and the average package of the ECE branch was 14 lakh per annum. In the ECE branch the percentage of people getting placed is 90% and in the CSE branch last year it is 100%. My plans are to get placed in a good company with a nice package and many people choose to go to higher studies or for UPSC.

The placement in NIT Silchar is decent. You will be eligible for placement from the 4th year but you will be associated with the T&P cell from the 3rd year. The companies which came for placements in 2022 are Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Electronics Limited, Amazon Web Services, Vedanta Resources Limited, Make My Trip, etc. The highest package is 44 LPA in 2022 offered by Amazon Web Services and the average package is 15-16 LPA. Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue Btech (CSE) from a national grade institute. Here faculty: the student ratio is about 1:50. All faculties are highly qualified from premier institutes all over India and their teaching methods are normal, I don't find that special. Our semester is going to be of short duration as our admission was late. Exams will be soon started. As per seniors, if you carefully listen to professors you will easily pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite decent and good. I chose the Undergraduate degree of B.Tech in the Civil Engineering Department as it was my dream to study at this Institute since I was in school. All the faculties are well educated and qualified to the best of their knowledge and the teaching is average. It depends on the student how well he interacts with the teachers and grasps knowledge.
