- Here the faculty is very nice they are ready help when students need there help
- Here placements is so good and many top companies are approaching to the college students here having good opportunity for the placements average placements is about 13lakhs per annual combining all branches
- Many scholarships like fcc, nsp and others are student welfare related and do help the students alot.
Dislikes
- Scholarship are there for weak section of society.. my fees is somewhat between 140000 to 150000 years as i didn't receive any scholarship or anything.
- The hostel facility is not that great, there is a food problem in terms of taste and water problem in terms of hygiene, there are some issues with the internet also.
- The attendance criteria is really strict and the behaviour of the professors are not good

- The campus of NIT Silchar is one of the biggest collage campus in India. There are more than 20+ lakes in this campus and the campus is very green.
- You meet different people's from all over India. And learn various things about other cultures.
- The fest in NIT Silchar are best. Incand, tecno, posua and many more.
Dislikes
- The hostels food are worst. You just don't want to eat in mess.
- This college is away from main town so it's difficult to get some important things near campus.
- Classes are nice but some projectors are not working sometimes.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Microsoft Google Oracle Infosys every big company visit this campus. 50 lakhs around is highest package. More than 90% students get placement. I will go for off campus placement for any PSUs

- The college campus is situated at a considerable distance from the centre of the town, which leads to time waste.
- The dining options in the campus is very limited. More number of food chains can be opened in the future.
Placement Experience:
Placements of NIT Silchar is quite decent. The median package offered during BTech and Mtech placements of 2023 stood at 13.95 LPA and 6 LPA respectively. A toatl of 694 students were placed out 694 students were placed out of 823 students.

- campus is big with good Infrastructure,sport , greenery, lakes where lots of lotus lily grow which make campus more beautiful.College fest most i love about college which make relax after so much acedamic pressure.
- Seniors of my college are supportive whenever any kinds of helps they are always there help us . Few of the faculties very good as they are owned they also any kinds of help needed i am just saying whom i know .
- college life which i am getting here every moments and every single days all actives i do with my friend always be in my heart.
Dislikes
- Hostel room which allot us 2nd year 2 students withs 3 students and college gate and lunch at mess.

Placement is good in my college students are eligible for placement after 7th semester for intership students are eligible after 5th semester.
Companies like amonze,microsoft,atlesian,goldmansachs,samsung many more compinies visite every
yaer.amzone 3 students 45lakhs and microsoft 2students 43latks and atlesian given 86lakhs but i have no idea on exect no but i say that globe top campanies come for campus recurit each year.
Highest package-86lakhs and avg-13.5lakhs last year 85-90% students get palaced last year and In CSE it was 95% in 2023 and 99.9% in 2022 .
Almost most of the get placed but if some them didn't get it they go for higher studies.
My aim is to get placed in good companise with package so that i can support my family as soon as possible.
