- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.

To choose this course is the reason that geography is my favourite subjects because it related to our natural ecosystems. Further i will go to civil service line with geography as my option paper so that geography help me a lot in future. To improvement in our courses that need to practical wise analysis in ground level not in theoretical. We have lots of time because all students prepared for sessional examinations and we all got good marks so their is no difficulty in our course

- Too much of fights in the campus between hostels
- To much dirty hostels and too much of ragging in the hostels

I choose this course because i want to work in the feild of media thats the reason i choose this course teacher need to do some improvement in the teaching and also add practical works in the course that will help the students

- The aspects of the college that i appreciate is that the teachers are very good and helping in nature in some cases they need improvement like time management and English communication.
- My engagement with campus life is very good and social interaction is fine as well.
- The faculty expertise teaching methods and mentorship quality is excellent.
Dislikes
- Some teachers are rude and don't know how to behave with students they just come for formalities.
- Poor time management and Need assistance for handicapped persons they don't have ramps and facilities for differently able person.
- Poor English communication need to improve like other colleges.

Specific curriculum that influence me to choose this course because i want to be expert in english both verbal and written I want to speak english fluently which can help me both personally and professionally.

- The teaching stuffs are awesome and the infrastructure are also very awake. Apart from that there are anti ragging provision but yes sometimes it difficult to manage those
- The administration is also good the stuffs in each sector is very cooperating

The course is to make awareness about gender sensitive roles and how society ascribed the gender roles . It is very relevance in today's society and very important. It is a comprehensive study about how women are treated how they considers as homemakers

Course Curriculum Overview:
I love english so i chose english my course enhanced my english learni by aspects. I love novel reading so it helped me to get to know more about it and write in exams. But teachers must use more methods to engage their students with their teaching since most of the teachers tend to just talk and students get sleepy at times.

- Teachers were good and helpful however they can be a little understanding. The infrastructure of our department was very well maintained, we had a kitchen, clean bathrooms and free wifi in the library alongwith AC.
- Our course was relevant but not very well known hence the number of students was very less.
- Hostel food was okay and security was good.
Dislikes
- My batchmates, they were atrocious. They made me feel like an outsider where as they are the ones who stay out of Guwahati
- Campus life wasn't that great, we had too many events and functions but they were mostly held at night.
- There should be separate competitions for different departments.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I thought that I will be able to improve my English skills hence I joined this course.
We had first hand experience about a lot of things however our course teaches us that lecture method doesn't work well but we were taught through the lecture method only in some classes.
Teaching methods need to be more practical, they were fun but they can be improved.
Timings for exams were convinient, we were given 4 hours to write our exams.

- Overalll educational atmosphere is nice in every aspect

- Grading system is not upto the mark to be honest
- Too much student politics environment makes classroom learning hampered
- Student grievances cell do not work frequently
Placement Experience:
Placement are also good..almost every student get the Placement those who sit in campus placement drive. I was not interested in campus placement because my field is literature and i intended to do b.ed so i didnt participate

- Faculties are good and well experienced. They are helpful. You can research your paper and other documents in department library and department computer lab
- Infrastructure is good to experience. They provide placement and placement seminar too.
- Comparatively the fee amount is lesser to other university.
Dislikes
- Sometimes you might not get water in the washroom
- The horrible behaviour of the administrative department. Not good at all. The worst pat of the whole university.
- Hostel condition is not upto that mark. Food and infrastructure both they can improve at least.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Guwahati university is one of the finest university in Assam. However, you might face difficulties when you need to coordinate with the administrative department. They are not polite, the way they should.
Departments and Classes are very good. They complete their syllabus on time, but exam level is quite difficult during master's.
You have to attend the classes, you can't miss those, they you can obtain a good mark,otherwise it is really difficult.
If I mention about the syllabus, it is good but not upto date. It is a kind of old syllabus compare to other universities.

- College events so beautiful. Mainly cultural rallys are elegent

- Campus are small. There are no place for relax in free time
- Official works like scholarships are no so functional

I want to became a professor.so I am interested in master's degree.the faculty ratio is pretty good. the course curriculum is like 2 years.4 sem is there..10 thousands fees per sem admission.and exam fees 2000 or some more

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
