Guwahati university is one of the finest university in Assam. However, you might face difficulties when you need to coordinate with the administrative department. If the student has completed their Graduation under different university, then they have to get the migration certificate for registration. For different category student, scholarship availability is also different. For ranking holder, for SC or ST student, who has bpl card, they can check their scholarship status with administrative department. They usually don't provide campus employment, but you can go through campus placement. Different kind of, mostly education related organizations come for campus placement. But they may not provide you the Assam Location, they provide you to work in different locations across India.

The campus life in GU is very good. They have youth festival, versity week, and other cultural programs time to time. You can get experience over there with different international and national seminars. And you will get the opportunity to take participate in to this. If I am talking about library, everyone knows that kkh library is one of the biggest library for student to learn. You can borrow two books with two cards. You can keep these for 15 days. You can get the facility of computer lab, both in library and the department.

If the student is from general category, then their percentage should 60 or above 60%. Then there is chance to get select for admission. For other categories, it would be lesser. Mostly the entrance exam is conducted during June or July month as the classes always start from August. The admission fee is around 8000 now.
