Financial assistance ishan udhoy scholarship this scholarship literally helps those who belong to poor families and helps them in fulfilling their needs.
I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

Course Curriculum Overview:

To learn about business, entrepreneurship i chose this course but it didn't helped me in any way as of now It has only helped me in enhancing my communication skills more and nothing more than that My suggestions would be the course should include some digital marketing course and some other course as well so that it becomes worthy to study there and become ready for the outside world. The units exams were conducted on after every 1 month of course duration gets complete and the final 3/4 months of duration difficulty levels were not that much hard if you have studied properly and understood the concept you will pass

A decent commerce college in Tinsukia

The college has great faculty with good experience.
The college conducts regular classes which promotes consistent learning.
Frequent fests and events are held which give practical experience to students

I was already from a commerce background and the next option for me was B.Comm. G.S. Lohia College is the best commerce college in Tinsukia and thus I opted for it. Also, various events are held throughout the year which made me choose the college.

My college and my experience

Likes

The college has big space and open for all and get some fresh air from the trees from campus..
The water of the college is good and fully purified.. You can eat.
The college faculties is very good and they always helps to pass the exam.

Dislikes

The toilet is so dirty.. College association should take care this..
The electricity is very big problem. Often electricity is cut.
The gate cant open till 1 PM.. This is a bad sign.

Affrodable Course fee for all level students
State University status with NBA and NAAC approval
Green Campus situated in a big area with all the facilities inside like food, ATM etc.

Placement Experience:

1. Placement is N/A for PHD students. 2. For other courses in the last year of the course, students are eligible for placement. 3. Highest package 80000/ per month, Average package - 30000/- 4. Placement percentage - 92% 5. I shall go for a postdoc.

Excellent academics and supportive facilities

The teachers are helpful and guided us in every situation from giving notes to doubt solving
The infrastructure is also good of all the classrooms

The office staff or the admission process os delayed too much
The university doesn't have a proper playground

The course curriculum is good the syllabus is updated one. All the relevant topics ase included which is essential to get the vast knowledge. Timing is a bit short but the regular classes help in completing the course.

It’s near highway which is being constructed and has many cons such as the main gate is not opened

The curriculum is based on old knowledge which needs to be improved and thr frequency of classes should be increased. The examination is fine and it's easy if we attend classes. Teaching methods can be improved once we have a good infrastructure.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
