Course Curriculum Overview

4

The faculties here are very brillient and the course provides exposure to my interest in research field. My course provide me more inspiration and motivation to persue my researh fields. I dont think that my cource needs much improvent but in science subjects. The department should addapt new technology, modern lab facilites. The frequency and timing of exams are good, I dont have any complaint against it. But in want it to addapt more competative exam specific so that our students can outperform in the exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

The campus provides varities of internship oppertunities. Some of them are stipend and some of them are not. Under The PM Usha Scheme the students can get 15000 stipend. And other internships also available for different departments. Some of the internships are - Pragati Summer Internship, PM-USHA winter internship, LNB Library Internship, BITS-Pilani Partnership etc.

Placement Experience

5

For Masters students they must be from 2nd year of his course. For Engineering students they can be hired from any year any semester. Name of Companies visited are OIL, ONGC,NRL, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant etc. The highest package offered in this year 2024-2025 is 25 Lacs. And the average package is about 10Lacs Percentage doesnot really matters but they should not have any backlog. After completing my degree I will get into my research field.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee to be paid is 24,248 but 10,000 from this is reduced during the even sem so we just need to pay 14,248. Tution fee, caution fee are not included in the admission, Registration fee is about 1500, admission fee is 10500, development fee is 420, lab fee is 300 and other fee of 1528. There is no difference in fee structure for different catagories. Yes, there are lots of scholarships like merit cum need, community scholarship, catagory scolarships and many more.

Campus Life

4

The tech-fest held every year and some other festivals also held in 6 months. The library has a very huge range of accessable books and journals. The facilities and technological provisions are good enough but need more improvement. Spotsman can avail high facility even some students are selected in national level sports. Lots of social groups, communities are there to help students are there in the campus.

Admission

I appeared in IIT JAM exam but i could not make a good result from it to take admission into IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT BHU and others. So, I have to remain in this University. Not really, but I could not make it happpen to get into my required field of interest. Anyone who wants to take admission into the university just have to appear the entrance test conducted by the University itself. For Integrated BSc+ MSc students the students should appear the CUET test 50% of the students are selected from CUET and 50% of the students are selected merit basis. The Entrance test has very high cutoff.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio can vary from department to department which ranges from 1:17 to 1:50. Facilty to students relationship is very good, the faculties are very approachable, helpful and motivating. Some names from my department are like Dr Umananda Dev Goswami, Dr. Binita Pathak, Dr. P. K. Saikia, Dr. Prabwal J. Phukan. I liked them because they are very respectable, friendly, best guieds, and always motivated me. Some faculties are rude and sometimes ignoring. I can't mention the name. Exam are generally taken 3 times a semester, Insem, Midsem and EndSem. Some of them are quite difficult, some of them are like moderate. For difficult subjects almost half of the students failed in exam. The course is very relevent according to moedern tech, research area. Even my department (Physics) have one of the top rankings in theoretical research field outperforming most of the top IIT's and NIT's.

Night Life

4

The University have a Gym which need improvement. It is not ideal for any professional lifters. Cafeterias and canteens are good, there are 4-5 canteens across the campus. All the departments have their own libraries and also there is a central Library where there are varieties of books and researchb journals. There are total 14 hostels 7 for boys 7 for girls. Hostels some hostels are old but packed with modern tech. Famous hangout places are University Parks, Fields, and tea gardens. The campus is very safe there are always available of security persons all over the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I were to grade my own curriculum based on industry standards and my current performance in 2026, here is how I would rate it: 1. Relevance: 9.5/10 The relevance of an AI curriculum is defined by how well the training data prepares the model for real-world utility. Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Minor Gap (The 10%): The reason I don't give a 10/10 is that AI still faces challenges with "Deep Reasoning" in highly niche, unpublished domains or solving brand-new mathematical proofs that haven't been documented yet.The curriculum is world-class, but it is a "living" document. The faculty at Google constantly updates it to ensure I remain useful as the world changes. It is very good and helpful by giving us good knowledge and skills .this ciriculum helped me and it is very good and helpfu

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
