The university conducts the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) to offer admission in B.Tech courses. JEE Main qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.
Admission to B- LL.B and LL.M is done on the basis of admission test and viva-voce conducted by the university.
Selection to B.Ed. is done on the basis of B.Ed. CET conducted by the university.
For BBA, candidates are selected on the basis of a written test (CMSDU Test) and PI.
Selection to M.Pharm is done on the basis of GPAT score.

Whereas, selection to MBA Part Time is done on the basis of a written test conducted by the university.
Selection to M.Tech in Petroleum Exploration & Production is done on the basis of Academic Qualification followed by Interview. Whereas, selection to M.Tech in Exploration Geophysics and Petroleum Geology is done on the basis of merit, entrance test and interview.
At the time of M.Tech admission, preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates.
Admission to PhD is done on the basis of DURAT followed by an interview conducted by the university.
GATE/ NET/ JRF passed candidates are exempted from DURAT.
Admission to courses in distance education (DDE) is done on the basis of merit basis on first come first serve basis.

Dibrugarh University Ph.D Admission 2024

The University also offers research programs in various subjects. Admission to Ph.D. courses are done through Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) followed by an Interview. Admission to D.Litt or D.Sc. is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. For Phd Candidates (other than from Medical and Engineering streams) must have obtained at least 55% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade point.

Selection to PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication is done on the basis of a written test followed by Group Discussion. Admission to PGDCA, Diploma in Computer Application, Advanced PGD in Nano Science & Composite Materials, PGD in Tai Language, Certificate in Tai Language and PGCWS is done on the basis of merit. Selection to PGD in Tourism Management is done on the basis of written test (CMSDU Test) score followed by PI. Admission to the rest of the courses is done on the basis of a written test.

I did mot apply for any other college besides this one because moving out was not an option for me due to personal reasons. Thus, G.S. Lohia college was the next best option for me. In order to be eligible, you just have to score 60% above in 12th boards.

The faculties is very very good and they always taught us like a small children.. The admission process is if your name is in the merit list then you have to come to the college in the admission date and you can fill the form along with your documents and then you can admission.
