Dibrugarh University, Assam is a state university which was established in 1965. It offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD courses. At UG level. At the UG level, the university offers B.Ed, B.Pharm, BCA, B.Li.Sc, B.P.Ed, BBA, BA (Performing Arts) and B.Tech programs in various disciplines along with integrated B.Sc-M.Sc and BA-LL.B courses. Dibrugarh University also offers MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.L.I.Sc, LL.M, MCA, MSW, M.Pharm, M.Tech and MBA courses at PG level. The university also offers various UG and PG courses through distance education (DDE) mode.

- The university conducts the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) to offer admission in B.Tech courses. JEE Main qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.

Dibrugarh University Ph.D Admission 2024
The University also offers research programs in various subjects. Admission to Ph.D. courses are done through Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) followed by an Interview. Admission to D.Litt or D.Sc. is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. For Phd Candidates (other than from Medical and Engineering streams) must have obtained at least 55% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade point.

Dibrugarh University PG Diploma Admission 2024
The University also offers various PG Diploma, Certificate, Advanced PG Diploma courses to the candidates.
Minimum eligibility for PG Diploma is a pass in Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from recognized university. For Certificate courses, the candidates must pass in 10+2 examinations from recognized boards.
Selection to PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication is done on the basis of a written test followed by Group Discussion. Admission to PGDCA, Diploma in Computer Application, Advanced PGD in Nano Science & Composite Materials, PGD in Tai Language, Certificate in Tai Language and PGCWS is done on the basis of merit. Selection to PGD in Tourism Management is done on the basis of written test (CMSDU Test) score followed by PI. Admission to the rest of the courses is done on the basis of a written test.

I did mot apply for any other college besides this one because moving out was not an option for me due to personal reasons. Thus, G.S. Lohia college was the next best option for me. In order to be eligible, you just have to score 60% above in 12th boards.

I applied for two colleges and both of them i selected but i choose this college because of the department and the faculties of the department.. The faculties is very very good and they always taught us like a small children..
The admission process is if your name is in the merit list then you have to come to the college in the admission date and you can fill the form along with your documents and then you can admission.
