ASSAM DOWN TOWN UNIVERSITY FROM STUDENTS VIEW

The college infrastructure is well equipped with Wi-Fi and a central library
The college is very beautiful because of it is greenery around the college
According to my personal course which is bachelor of pharmacy I have got an some good t-shirts who have guided me in my whole b.pharm of 3 years and the teacher will knowledgeable and well guided and kind enough to guide us in a good direction

Dislikes

Altho the college provide us with wi-fi service for student it's network speed is very poor
There could be more canteen is available so that we do not eat in a crowded place
Who is the biggest negative point about my college is it is situated in a hilltop and it is very difficult for us to go to one block to another block because of the hill climb

Placement Experience:

It is a leading institute for placement in North East for pharmacy placement is really good but as number of student is high so the competition is high one have to do a lot of extra courses that University itself provides

All about Assam Down Town University from student perspective

Likes

Infrastructure is great with variety of course available to take as per your desires
The college faculty are well educated and are very good in teaching. Specially pharmacy department is very good regarding teaching students
The college is good in conducting various seminars and various lectures teaching us variety of different topic other than our course

Dislikes

The college is situated at the top of like a mountain. Its difficult at starting to go college as it would felt like hiking
Internet service for students is very poor
Courses are very expensive and demands money more than you could get by completing of the course

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester, students are eligible for campus placement. I haven't gotten into 8th semester so I haven't got the chance to sit in campus placement Highest package is around 10LPA and average package is around 2LPA Percentage of students getting placement according to ADTU is 90% My plans after completion of this course is to pursue masters of pharmacy

8th semester students are become eligible in campus placement in our college Sun Pharma Sun Pharma and other pharmacy company are offer in this college and also other medical company minimum package in the Christmas are 2 to 3 lacs player and maximum 5 lakhs per percentage getting freshman for each CGPA my planning is I fast the degree and then also master degree in this course

The best thing about my college is in Guwahati I think best teachers or professors are from this university
75 percent is must to attend exams which can be good or bad according to ur perspective
Mentors are friendly and helpful if u r sick then they will surely help with attendance but u have to give prescription

Dislikes

Infrastructure it is kind of moderate but electricity problem and no Ac after paying high fees

I chose this course because I want to know about medicine and they are helping me with that everyday there are regular classes both theory and practicals. Exams are scheduled in either 1st half or 2nd half according to managements

A review of Assam downtown University

At first the view of campus is very beautiful it is like somewhere mountain view in this plains areas nd the classroom are quite big and it has more then 50+ courses so many opportunities to studies.
They conduct a yearly fest which is more fun than anything and have many canteens to enjoy our meal. Infrastructure is also beautiful
The teacher's are really helpful , they conduct exams on time also we can ask multiple time to teachers like schools.

Dislikes

The rules which we have to follow still like a kid. In gate security doesn't allow us to go out before 3pm even there is no classes then also and have to climb 100 stairs early morning because they don't allow us to go from road side
Washroom facilities sometimes is dirty Evan housekeeping staff do their job properly and there is no UPI in canteen which is much needed in this time because nobody keeps cash with them nowadays

Placement Experience:

First of all they called Many companies and they forced us to give interview in many field. Likely the job of marketing will come more but the package is great I would say. Even many students choose not to do marketing jobs so for v pharm direct any industry will not come that is sad. Otherwise it's good they call more than 50 companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

I eagerly want to study medical science, so I took admission because it was one of the prestigious universities in northeast India. The students ratio is a proper section with a good and talented batch the ratio od faculty-student is about 1:24 I think. Teaching every teacher is one of the best things I had seen here

Placement Experience:

In my course after the 7th semester, we are eligible for campus placements. Sun Pharma is the top pharmaceutical company that comes to make offers along with other companies. After a bachelor degree, the highest you can expect is a 3 - 4 LPA. I don't know for sure but almost 60% students get placement. I am going to complete my masters after getting bachelor degree.

Remarks:

Positive things are college is situated in a good place environment is very good . The negative thing i will say it is situated far away from main city which is Guwahati. Roads are not that much interms of transportation
