- The tech fests are very good and the profs are good as well
- Our clg placements stats are pretty good all top companies like, google, microsoft, amazon, etc.
- The hostel and food at iiith are better than at other colleges in india.
Dislikes
- The schedule is quite hectic .there will be many assignment deadlines on the same day . assignments are sometimes very difficult which needs topics which we have never been taught till . also plagiarism checks sucks as they are not always correct.
- The mess food not up to the mark and some times it wont be nice.
- 85% Attendance Criteria: Its compulsory for students to have atleast 85% attendance in all the subjects or else suffer from grade drops.

- HIgh Qualiy Education: The professors are all truly experts in their fields and hence provide world class education. IIIT Hyderabad is especially known for its coding culture. Its a bit rigorous and stressful, but can be managed.
Dislikes
- Highly Competitive: The rigorous currciulum combined with highly competitive field can be a little stressful sometimes.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements in their 4th year, i.e 7-8th semester. Well known software companies like Google, Apple, Facebook, Adobe, Amazon, nVidia etc.. Our college has 100% placement and around 32lpa as the average salary. The highest salary in the last period was around 69 lacs. All the 349 students were placed.

- The academics is very nice . You get to learn a lot of stuff.
- The ambience all around the college is nice .
- Senior junior friendship is very nice and bonding.
Dislikes
- Too much academic stress sometimes . But it is nice bcoz we are way ahead of other colleges.
- Sometimes less cultural activity, but there are many activities.
- Sports facilities are there but is less than compared to other colleges.
Placement Experience:
Placement of IIITH is best in country . it happens in the starting of 4th year for single degree student . All major MNC companies visit the campus for placements . Average package is 30 lakh per annum . Almost 100% of BTech students are placed .

Course Curriculum Overview:
Our course is actually quite relevant, apart from the necessary courses like physics and human sciences that are being mandated all across India , as a computer science student I only study relevant up to dated courses over here, on top of that we are offered a bunch of electives that are being updated every year. The faculty teaching the course here has full control over the syllabus and can modify accordingly to them, therefore they often teach us what's currently going on and what will be required for us in the future

- The way the academic courses are structured is phenomenal . We are given a good enough exposure of industry work through our courses only . most of the courses are important for securing a job . a lot of practicality is taught in the courses , labs .
- The coding culture is very good in IIIT hyderabad .we are made to practice a lot of coding questions via labs, assignments,exams
- The placements here are quite better than other private colleges
Dislikes
- The schedule is quite hectic .there will be many assignment deadlines on the same day
- The semester keeps moving so fast without enough breaks which is quite a big headache for the students
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are excellent in our campus . Our college is often know for for its placements . we have recorded a flawless 100% placements last to last year . and our campus was the first one where apple visited for campus placements . the avergae package in CSE is 24 lakhs per annum while the lowest is 12 lakhs per annum. we have our intership drives after 2nd year and most of the students gets inetrships which further gets converted to pre placement offer.

- Complusory value education + sports every alternate day
- Attendence policy of 85 % which works out to 4 holidays a sem
- Lack of good fests and other entertainment opportunities
Placement Experience:
Placements appear to be good on the outside.
But, no one knows the correct state as the college brought in lower paying companies to get the 100% tag.
But, in CSE the top packages are pretty high north of 50 LPA.
Apple, google and microsoft come to IIIT every year recruiting 10 to 15 people each

- Professors are really into their subjects what they teach and how they teach is something different.
- The location in middle of the city with malls eating places everything.
- Canteens are good and also cheap and options are endless.
Dislikes
- No lan for first year students with low connectivity on campus.
- The water quality should be looked after it gave me some problems when i first came here but you get used to it.
- Strict 85% attendance policy is something which bothered me.
Placement Experience:
Placements are exceptional as the main focus stays on research with endless opportunities.
Usually every big comapnies visit campus including Apple and the palcements are also good.
College claims a 100% placement record which is true i relised it after coming here and there are reasons for it.

- the mess food is pretty great here in college

- since the students are less in number so we have very less participation in cultural events and the events are not at that massive level like it happens in other colleges like IIITs and all. But overall there is no deficiency of cultural activities
- sports activities are not that promoted but we have all facilities
- academic pressure is a little overwelhming
Placement Experience:
Campus Placements occur after 4th year's 1st semester during December
We have 100% placement
and the Avg CTC last year was a whooping amount of 33 lakhs per annum
highest was above 1 crore
all the companies visit our college google,microsoft,uber,rubrik,etc

- I liked that there is no reservation here , so people coming here are very nice . and the environment here at hyderabd is very rejuvenating .
- The coding culture at iiith is very exceptional i will say the best in india , it fosters innovation and collaboration
Dislikes
- The campus life here is relentlessly studious and hectic, offering little respite. the constant academic pressure hampers personal well being
- The club events are organised on a very small scale and there is very less engagement by the students is an issue .
Placement Experience:
As we are still in the first year , we do not have much idea about the placements here, but here is what I know
The placement cell here at IIITH is very active throughout the year, they really strive to get almost all of the people here at the college decent placements and valuable internships.
Students become eligible for campus placements after coming into the 4rth year.
some of the famous companies which come here at iiith are the following -
amazon , microsoft , goldman sachs , google, adobe , flipkart , qualcomm , ibm .
highest package here at iiit for cse branch was 74 lpa and lowest was 20 lpa .

- I liked it's curriculum because it's environment is full of coding
- I liked it's hostel facilities and free use of machines
- I also liked the mess food but sometimes it's awesome

- Not much college life as it has more attendance policies
- Distance between classroom and hostels are much
- It's too expensive and some professors are also not good
Placement Experience:
After third year placements get started and even internships also start.Companies like google, Amazon ,Facebook, Infosys,etc. comes. Average package here is around 32 lakhs and highest is around 75 lakh.

- Placements are the best in iiit Hyderabad
- College fest: felicity is one of the most hyped event in our college
Dislikes
- Too much focus on studies and students don't get much free time
- Bathroom in hostels seems to be very unhygienic
- Laundry service is very costly and they don't even wash it themselves
Placement Experience:
The students became eligible for placements in 4th year and I don't know much details about other things as I have recently started my first years but I know that companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon,apple etc visit our college for hiring.

IIIT's curriculum is similar to IIT after which it has been designed. Under this curriculum, you have to complete all compulsory CS courses within 2 years and then you are open to explore a field of your choice through electives in the 3rd and 4th year. A few common electives include VISION, NLP, CSTAR, and many others. Some students use their free time to prepare for their Master, publish undergrad papers, and then move abroad for Masters. Others can be seen targeting an MBA. Consider the following things before making the final decision
- Placement trends over the past few years
- Curriculum especially the compulsory courses
- Number of research papers from undergrads
- Fee structure
- Campus Culture
Overall, IIIT Hyderabad is an excellent choice considering its rich research culture in comparison to IIT Guwahati.
