What Students Say

Likes

Professors are really into their subjects what they teach and how they teach is something different.
The location in middle of the city with malls eating places everything.
Canteens are good and also cheap and options are endless.

Dislikes

No lan for first year students with low connectivity on campus.
The water quality should be looked after it gave me some problems when i first came here but you get used to it.
Strict 85% attendance policy is something which bothered me.

Course Curriculum Overview

Updated curriculum encouraged me to choose this college over iits with endless opportunities for research and developement the history of the institution speaks for itself. Exams are like always there with weekly graded labs and exams every month the institute expects you to push yourself and the assignments are taher challenging.

Internships Opportunities

Students usually look for internships themselves college doesnt focus on internships as research is their main domain and internships are plenty living in the heart of Gachibowli. You get lots of opportunities in the city itself with startups.

Placement Experience

Placements are exceptional as the main focus stays on research with endless opportunities. Usually every big comapnies visit campus including Apple and the palcements are also good. College claims a 100% placement record which is true i relised it after coming here and there are reasons for it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is well balanced with hostel and mess fees being surprisingly low. Scholarships are provided by various comapnies etc and also SBI avails low interest loans for the students with one of its branch present inside the campus.

Campus Life

Felicity being the biggest cultural fest oncampus with R&D showcase (research and development) being one the major fests in the college. Also with frequent club activities and small fests. Sports are made mandatory in college with requirement of atleast 4 credits in sports.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are clean maintained more than you can ask for 3k a month rooms are double,triple and sngle occupancy with fans provided in each with lan connections. There are 4 mess in college with different food options and also 5 canteens with tantra serving full meals is my goto.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

Admission process was quite smooth the eligibility for the admission was quite similar to josaa. Frequent mails and the college insta profile updates about the admissions and activities. Application fees was moderate and the dates were inbetween jee main 2nd attempt and jee advanced giving time to prepare. Only a state reservation was valid for the underprivileged giving them an opportuinity to reap the benefits of the institution.

A place with Great Minds!

The admission process was done online,the payment of fees as well as documents submission. We needed to get some documents verified at the first day of college. The cutoff for CSE was 1687 rank in jee mains while for ECE it was around 4200. This is the cutoff for male category. The admission portal wasn't good,it was a little bit difficult to handle it. IIIT Hyderabad: An Academic Gem - A Review of Excellence
