DBS Global University Dehradun Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I first heard about DBS in my college from one of our professor who told me alot about the education quality of DBS. So I decided to do my master's from there. The admission of students is based on the 10th, 12th and national level exam marks along with the interview. I applied for my course by visiting the college itself and filled the admission form and paid the application fees of Rs.1078.

Kotak, byjus, Wipro etc are the recruiting companies in doon. around 70% of students are placed. I will do the job for 4 5 years then I will start something of my own. After the second semester and internship, you are eligible for placements

More than 42 companies visit for final placement in our college AND few big names are Byjus. Kotak, vmart. Wipro, ADDA, Berger paints etc and they select the candidates from doon and after the second semester, you are eligible to sit in the placement with some general criteria.

There are so many big companies like Aditya Birla, AsianPaints, Kotak, Byjus visits to doon. Our average placement is somewhere around 5.25 lakhs and more than 40 companies visits our campus for recruitment

The average placement of doon was somewhere around 5 lacs. The highest package goes beyond 10 lakhs. 70% of the students got placed in our batch, others searched from outside or started something of their own.

The highest is 15lacs and the average is 5 lacs of this year because of covid, this year some less no. of companies showing their interest and around 60% of the batch is placed. I am planning to job for one or two years then start my own business or run a startup.

Doon is regarded as one of the best business college to study. It ranks among top 10 b-schools in India. I always wished to study here because of it being highly prestigious. It also ranks 2nd best in India for future oreintation. The admission process is based on merit. It is then followed by group discussion and personal interview only after which I got lucky enough to get shortlisted. I also had to go through counselling sessions and career guidance. For the admission fees, I paid 750 rs and I applied from the official college site. I took up this course because of the jobs it offers in various sectors like banking and finance, sales, recruitment and in the corporates as well.

There were so many reasons for me to take admission in this college as first off, the placement rate is 100% and the highest package offered is 11 lakhs per annum. Further, the facilities like sports complex, computer lab, library, classrooms, cafeteria, transport, medical tieups and others are provided in our college. Also, the course curriculum is well designed, faculties are highly qualified and we are provided summer internship program and industrial visit facilities. Most importantly, ranking wise, our college is at the first position in business schools in Uttarakhand and is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and approved by AICTE/UCG. Then, to take admission I registered myself first and further filled the application form and paid the application fee of Rs. 750 in online mode. Further, on the basis of my 10th, 12th, graduation marks and score in MAT exam, I got shortlisted for the selection process where I faced an Interview and lastly, I got admission offer letter. Next to that, I reserved my seat by depositing the course admission fee of Rs. 35000/- through online mode.

The 7th-semester student is eligible for the campus placement. And many companies visited like the Elich baba Noida. And many no. Of offer made. And the average package is the starting with 150000/year. Without experience and 80% of students getting placement.

Well, placements are decent and as per the information received from CDC the last year highest placement package was 16 lac/ annum and the average placement was 6 lac/annum. Companies that visit the campus includes - Deloitte, KPMG, Royal Bank of Scotland, Berger, Asian Paints, ITC to name a few.
