Placement Experience:

Placement which are offered by our college is very interesting average 6 to 8 lakh per year . Placements are very good and college also send students for internship around 6 to 8 months with very good stipend and in very well known industries . Companies which come to DGU for campus recruitment are very well know and give very good placement opportunities to student .

The placements are quite low, there are no great companies are coming the packages are also quite low like for bba its 3-4 lac p.a For mba its 6-7 lac p.a. Not very good companies are coming for recruitment especially finance companies.

Placement department helps in terms that some teachers from placement department are there for teaching soft skills and interview guidance, whenever there is company arrives in the campuss

Placement Experience:

Just after one year completion of the college students get opportunity to be seated for college placements and companies start coming every second or third week to the campus, but even if they are selected for the company, they were asked to go for job in their last semester or may be after completion of college in some cases. Many companies including Deloitte,KPMG, COPSOL, amd 100 more have come to the college and taken students as per their needs, but each company takes 2 to 8 employees and sometimes they don't take students as they need students according to their preferences for their job role. Highest package has been offered till 21 lakhs to student for finance role in the company and average is around 5 to 8 lakhs of packages are there for students for different streams, most companies provide visited in campus are for marketing where the job role is mostly management trainee where they atleast get 5 lakhs of package plus incentives in their job. College was previously affiliated to other university named UTU(Uttrakhand technical University) so students used to get less percentage, maximum percentages used to around 85 to 90% , and only tier 1 companies used to ask for more than 75%. My plans are clear to get placement from the college as I have invested myself and money to the college so I can get good understanding of the course which helps my career, so I want a good placement in marketing role which will be best for me.

Not good in giving placement's as they advertise or promise on their page.

From 4th year the students are eligible for campus placements. BP Global, Tech Mahindra, Decathlon etc 22 lakh was the highest package from BP Global as SAP Consultant. 50% of the candidates are palced and other are searching for the companies.

If we are simply comparing the colleges on the basis of ROI, JMI would be your best bet since it gets you a job with an average pay of 5 lacs with a mere fee of nearly 50000. But if you want to get a proper campus exposure you could think of going to Doon Business School. Doon charges nearly 5c lacs for the entire period of two years and has an average package of 6v lacs. You also need to emphasize the factors that are important to you. JMI is a central university and has a very rich legacy but Chandigarsh University on the other hand is quite popular for its pedagogy and professors. My personal choice would be to go for JMI because of the enticing ROI and small batch size.
